Lucas had given up on Kes. Not that he consciously ever gave in to the thought of the two of them, but the flame was definitely burned out. Kes and Olivia had gotten back together, and Lucas was genuinely happy for them. Isa and he got to have more quality time just the two of them, now that Kes was busy back with Olivia. And there was no bad blood between the girls, or at least Lucas didn't notice. He had also told Jayden that he had given up on girls in general, to which Jayden had answered with a gay-joke, that Lucas obviously denied. He knew neither Jayden or Kes would have any problem if him being gay was the case, but the idea to Lucas was just too overwhelming to even think about.
And he hadn't ever been into a guy before anyway- of course if you didn't count the boners Kes' dancing and touching had given him.
