[Ch5] Baby Baby

Tsukishima and Yamaguchi were packing their things in the living room -well mostly Yamaguchi because Tsukki can hardly see- while Yamaguchi was muttering about something random. Yamaguchi was cut off from his useless rambling when he looked up and saw the blonde staring at the wall aimlessly with glossy eyes.

"Umm. Tsukki are you okay?" Yamaguchi asked clearly concerned for the other. Tsukki took a breath in and tried his best to answer without his voice breaking, "Y-Yeah, I'm ok-ay." Yamaguchi stared at him making eye contact. He knew it could help. "Ah-huh, sure." He replied knowing he was lying. They stared at eachother intensely for 2minutes before Tsukishima finally gave in. "F-Fine, I'm not okay" Tsukishima let out followed by a sob. Yamaguchi immediately went and wrapped his arms around the taller boy. "Wanna tell me about it?" Yamaguchi asked. He was answered by a nod.

Once the taller calmed down, he started to speak, "Well first of all, I'm bleeding." Tsukishima said calmly.

"What the- were you planning on getting an infection by not telling me? how did that even happen? Where is it?" Tsukishima expected this type of reaction and just answered in a monotone voice. "No, I was gonna fix it myself. When i sat down and scraped my hand on a piece of glass, probably from my glasses, and its right here." He ended by showing the cut that was halfway across his palm to Yamaguchi. The latter gasped at the size and immediately dug into Tsukishima's bag knowing he carries a med kit with him whenever they go places together. They sat together while Yamaguchi tended to his wound. "Anything else bothering you?" Yamaguchi asked calmly.

"Yeah, well it just hasn't been the best day." The pinch server hummed still cleaning the wound before asking, "And why's that baby?" The injured blonde took a breath before he continued, "Just, I broke my glasses...again. I can hardly see shit. I could hear the team making fun of us and talking behind our backs and it hurt. You had marker mess up your pretty face. I'm literally fucking bleeding. Lastly, I'm pretty sure you're mad at me" Tsukishima said all in one breath causing him to take a big breath of air once he finished.

"Oh, Kei baby I'm not mad at you, you haven't done anything to make me mad or anything like that" Yamaguchi exclaimed looking at the honey brown eyes infront of him. He was about to continue but their loving pep talk moment was interrupted by someone clearing their throat.

"Can we come in or are you still gonna baby the beanpole."

Tsukishima quickly wiped any remaining tears on his face and looked away from the person, "shut up king" Kageyama just scoffed, "whatever you say, just never knew you were a crybaby but I'll leave you to it" at that Kageyama and the rest of the team went to pack their own belongings.

Tsukishima looked back to the mesmerizing dark brown eyes beside him and gave a 'you see what I mean' kind of look. Yamaguchi stood up from his position on the floor and marched over to Kageyama. "What the actual hell is your problem Kageyama!" Yamaguchi exclaimed causing everyone to look in their direction. "What do you possibly have against Tsukki!" Yamaguchi continued to shout "You're just acting like a big ass bully, and I.hate.bullies" his voice spitting more venom as he ended his sentence.

Kageyama looked up at Yamaguchi about to answer only to see him get dragged away by Suga. "Tch" he clicked under his breath. He was kind of relieved that Suga dragged the boy away but ofcourse he wouldn't admit it.

Sugawara dragged the fuming boy outside so he could have fresh air and calm down. "He is really getting on my last nerve" Yamaguchi said more to himself then anyone else as he paced outside. Once Yamaguchi finally took a deep breath and calmed down, the front door opened and he saw his tall boyfriend come out.
