[Ch1]Smiles Cause Suprises

Tsukishima and his boyfriend Yamaguchi were walking to school, both of them smiling and laughing about random things. After a while Hinata and Kageyama walk past and are suprised to see Tsukishima laughing. Hinata gasped "Did I just see Tsukki laugh, this must a dream, do you see it too Kageyama?" Tsukishima stopped laughing and just looks ahead with a straight face.
Yamaguchi then sees this and turns to Hinata.

"Yknow Hinata, Tsukki can laugh if he wants to" Yamaguchi said with a forced smile. Kageyama just scoffs "I didn't know the beanpole had other emotions other than being a snarky bastard", hearing this Tsukishima turns to look at him and with a comeback "And I never knew you had -"

"See what I mean" kageyama interupted rolling his eyes. Tsukishima looks Kageyama in the eyes and replies by saying "You didnt even let me finish , your highness. What? Cant listen to a commoner like me? It's ok I get it"

Kageyama stumbles on his words too stunned to answer and Tsukishima just starts walking away, "Let's go Tadashi'", "Right behind you Tsukki"

They walk the rest of the journey to school quietly. There was no early morning practice that day so they went straight to their lockers to get the necessary books and from there went to their class.

In class Tsukishima sat at his chair while Yamaguchi sat on the latter's desk and spoke about anything and everything while Tsukishima just listened, humming and making some comments to ensure his partner that he was indeed listening to this story. A few minutes later the teacher walked in and Yamaguchi had to go to his chair, "Bye tsukki, talk later" and he kissed Tsukkis cheek before he left. With a blush spread on his cheeks tsukki replied with a simple "Bye"

You would think that after they've dated for almost 1 year -Yamaguchi confessed on Tsukki's 15th birthday- he would be used to the affection but I guess not .

Class went on and all the blonde blocker could think of was the idiot duos' comments on his emotions.
Is it really that suprising that he could feel joy? Is it really that odd for him to smile? Did people always expect him to be annoyed? Was it unusual for him to be happy around his boyfriend?

His train of thought was then interrupted by the bell, reminding him he was in class and should be focusing. After a little more time of class, it was time for lunch. Tsukishima and Yamaguchi went to the table they always sit at and began with their lunch.

"Are you alright Tsukki, you looked like you weren't even focused in 2nd period" Yamaguchi asked with concern laced in his voice. Tsukishima started fiddling with his fingers, the pinch server knew now that his boyfriend was anxious about something.

"Its just" Tsukishima began "I never knew it was weird when I'm happy, is it? It probably is. Like King said, he thinks I can only live by giving snarky remarks. Why can't I just give a genuine smile without people thinking I'm crazy. Like is it really that unbelievable?"

Tadashi sat there, thinking what to reply in this situation. This wasn't the first time people would freak out when Tsukishima laughs or even let's out a tear, people can often forget he's only human and is allowed to feel an array of emotions like every other human being.

"Tsukki, you can show what ever emotion you want at what ever time you want -except you can't laugh in ultra serious situations" Tsukki giggled at a memory from about a year ago, "Like that time a teacher was scolding you for not doing homework the whole week but you couldn't stop laughing because of the vein popping out of his forehead which ended up giving you a longer detention" Yamaguchi sighed at Tsukshima's words "Yeah, like that, but anyway what I'm trying to say is you're allowed to feel what you feel and shouldn't be told otherwise. You're not weird for being happy, I just think they weren't used to it and didn't know how to react. Don't worry about it babe, they just haven't seen you smile before, and that's kinda sad because your smile is so beautiful. " Yamaguchi stated with a soft smile

"Yeah I guess, thanks Tadashi" "No problem Tsukki, I'm always happy to help." with that they continued their lunch.

After school they had practice and it went on as normal, Hinata screaming, Kageyama scowling, Daichi yelling commands and Kiyoko being annoyed by a midget and his bald friend.

After practice ended Yamaguchi and Tsukishima walked with eachother, hand-in-hand on their way home, "That curvy serve thingy you did was pretty cool Tadashi, I didn't expect it to do that." Tsukishima said, blushing red from complementing his boyfriend. "Thanks Tsukki" he answered with a smile, "I've been trying to perfect it for quite some time now" He said looking up at the blonde "Well I think you did great and it looks very perfect to me" Tsukishima replied and gave Yamaguchi a peck on the lips and ran.

Yamaguchi was quite shocked and ran after the tall boy "HEY TSUKKI, WHAT WAS THAT?! COME HERE AND GIVE ME A REAL KISS RIGHT NOW!! OMG WHY DO YOUR LONG LEGS MAKE YOU SO FAST!?!? JUST COME BACK AND GIMME KISSES"
