"Beep... Beep!" The alarm clock rang incessantly. Lucy rubbed her eyes drowsily, checking the time. "7.21... OH MOTHERBUNNY (oh such language) LORD, WE'RE GOING TO BE LATEEEEE!" Lucy hollered, waking both Levy and Erza up. "What..." They said and then checked the time, "Noooo!" They quickly changed into school uniform and sprinted off to school as Erza and Lucy tied their hairs into a ponytail.
Thank Pete's sake that all three were good in all sports. They ran to school at flying speed, sending those passersby to swirl a bit, like a typhoon arrived. Levy was full of pride as she had a head start. "'Toldya a good short hair will be useful. BYEEE~!" Levy started quickening her pace. "Erza... Special takeoff..." Lucy ran like the wind at the same speed as Erza and Erza nodded.
"3..." Erza braced herself while running.
"2..." Lucy breathed in.
"1... GO!"
Erza and Lucy ran faster than usual, easily overtaking Levy. "Now who's slow, huh?" Erza smirked as she ran faster and faster. "Nuh uh, see Levy, I'm the better friend." Lucy was pulling (dragging, in fact) Levy as she ran about the same speed as Erza, with Erza leading.
They reached school, with a good three minutes to spare. "Lu-chan! Why'd you drag me? God, I feel dizzy. I feel like the wind slapped me hard, yeah?" Levy argued, not noticing the huge group of students staring at them as they sprinted into the school within seconds.
Lucy smirked, "If I didn't drag you, you'll be perhaps KILOMETERS away from Erza and me. So... hehe." "No, I would'nt-" Levy talked back but got interrupted by Erza. "Um, guys..." Erza poked them. "Eh, Erza, why aren't you scolding us for fighting? Remember?" Lucy questioned. Erza whispered softly, "Look in front, you two, baka (idiot)!" Lucy and Levy turned their heads, to see a SWARM of students crowding around them.
"W-what?" Lucy asked. A few fangirls ran up to her and said, "Wow, you and that red-haired girl should represent the school's track team! Kya~" Erza and Lucy awkwardly fanned it off as they laughed. Levy pouted and stood akimbo, hands on hips. "Hey! I'm quite fast too. For your information, Lucy and Erza have close timings, by 0.5 seconds but I'm only a second away from Lu-chan!" The fangirls didn't even spare a glance at her. "Hn!" Levy puffed her cheeks.
"Ding dong, ding dong..." Thank Lord for the school bell! The swarm of students slowly decreased in number and Erza, Lucy and Levy made their way to the registration office.
"Hi, I'm Erza and these two from left to right are Lucy and Levy. Can we get our timetable and a detailed map of the school? We only require one map and three timetables. Thanks." Erza smiled and asked politely. "May I ask from what school were you in? We have a number of Lucys." The girl asked. Lucy replied, "MHS, Magnolia High School." The girl gasped for a bit but regained her posture and passed them their timetables separately and a map. "Your first class is located at Class A-01, walk straight and take a turn to the left and you'll be there." The girl gave the directions. "Okay, thanks!" All three girls said in unison.
They walked, occasionally glancing at the map, and finally arrived at Class A-01. The sensei (teacher), from hearing footsteps, left the classroom and noticed it was the three big shots from Magnolia High. "Ah, you must be the three. Come on in!" He welcomed.
"Okay, now introduce yourselves. Lucy goes first." The teacher, Gildarts-sensei, requested.
Lucy walked in front and waved. "Hi, I'm Lucy Heartfilia. Call me Lucy, not blondie! Heh, take care of me, yeah?" She winked and walked back to her usual position. Erza went next. "Erza Scarlet." She looked fierce as she introduced herself. Levy shyly stood and spoke softly, "L-Levy's the name... Hi." A few guys were practically nose bleeding and some just fainted due to massive loss of blood. "Alright!" Gildarts-sensei clapped his hands. "Lucy, sit beside the pink-headed guy and the other two can sit at the rear end back two empty seats."
