The scene was an idea inspired by a deleted scene.. When Karina MacKenzie, one of TO's writers, was asked why Klaus went to see Cami .. She told them that he went to tell her that he was leaving but he would always return for her.. In this scene, what happened with Kol, Davina, and Lucien in the series did not happen here.

"I came to tell you I'm leaving with Hayley and Hope... It's not safe for us here anymore... But know that I'll return always for you"

That sentence always wakes her from her sleep, immersed in regret.. He came to say goodbye to her and she broke his heart.. He came to tell her that his feelings are still the same, and what did she do? How many years have passed since he was gone? fifteen years and three months.. but in return he wounded her heart, an incurable wound.. she finally embraced her new self and accepted it.. Thanks to Elijah.. He helped her a lot and became her favorite teacher.. She had a great and totally unexpected friendship with him.. He reassures her whenever Klaus sends him a message reassuring him.. Although she stops asking about him, but Elijah does this on his own.. She did her morning routine while packing her bag.. Today she will return to New Orleans after a wonderful vacation in Miami.. Tomorrow is Christmas and if she is late, she puts herself at the mercy of Elijah's wrath. 

When she came back, she slept straight for a long time without noticing that she had forgotten to set her phone's alarm.. So when she woke up, it was midday.. She jumped out of bed quickly, She was late.. Elijah asked for her presence in the morning to help decorate the compound.. She closed her eyes, nervously.. to put on her dress that she had bought specially for this occasion while she was putting on a light face makeup.. It showed her captivating beauty, especially as she raised her hair.. She left two strands swinging on her face and kissed her eyes from time to time.. She picked up her necklace that did not leave her neck.. She looked at it for a long time before wearing it and then hid it under her dress.. She quickly headed to the compound..which had been decorated and became beautiful and ready to celebrate.. She frowned sadly.. She was always having fun while she was decorating it with Elijah.. The first one who greeted her was Kol, saying with a smug smile "Look who came.. Why are you sulking like that, blonde?"

She grinned in exasperation before giving him a quick hug.. They agreed that they would have a good relationship for Davina's sake.. She answered in a gentle voice "It's good that you were able to attend the celebration this year"

He replied cunningly "I'm glad I decided to attend.. I would have missed a great show if I hadn't come"

She frowned without understanding.. before she felt a weight in her heart.. and that someone was watching her.. she turned around looking for him, but she didn't see anyone.. Kol asked maliciously "Are you looking for someone?"

She turned to him with disappointed eyes.. And said discomfited "Elijah"

Elijah's voice came from behind in a quiet voice as usual, but she distinguished his annoyed tone "Here.. Didn't I say so clearly you should be here in the morning? Why are you so late?"

She bit her lips with guilt justified shyly "I fell asleep and forgot to set the alarm.. I came back yesterday for you Elijah..don't get angry I'm sorry"

Elijah sighed heavily as he looked at her.. Camille has become his best friend since Klaus left.. He is mad at his brother for what he did to her.. Yes, she lied to him and Klaus is sure that she is a liar.. There was never a reason to hurt her as he did.. He approached her with calm steps before holding her in his arms, saying softly "This dress suits you very much"
