Author nim's back back BACK!! I'm sorry for not updating for so long. Its been 3 months since I started writing and I still haven't got a single follower. That's a bit demotivating.

Anyway, how are y'all doing. Here's what I had for breakfast (the pic, not the title. LOL). What did you guys eat?

Kaden's POV

I crack open my eyes, expecting to wake up in the familiar comfort of my room. Instead a pair of alluring dark eyes meet mine.

I realize that his arms were wrapped around me, pressing me into the warmth of his large body.

I try to put some distance between us, struggling to push away his large body, but he tightens his grip.

"Let me go."  I try to glare him down, but he ignores me.

"I SAID LET GO OF ME!!"  I shout, resulting in me having a coughing fit.

He gets up and move away from me, breaking the contact we were sharing. He looks down at me longingly, eyes soft and gentle. I feel a dull ache in my chest and Sage whimpers pitifully in the back of my mind.

"I'll got get some breakfast."

He turns to walk out of the room. The ache in my chest intensifies to an unbearable level.

"Wait!!", I call out. He looks at me confusedly.

"I'm coming with you. I don't want to stay here in this musty ass room!!"

"You're not healed yet and your body probably doesn't have the energy. You'll just make it worse if you walk around now."

"Don't fucking tell me what to do!!"

"Listen to me, Wolf."

I grit my teeth as I try to stand up. But my legs give way and I collapse.

Strong hands hold me before I fall face-first onto the floor.

He sighs exasperatedly before bending his arms under my thighs and lifting me of the floor.

"W-what the h-h-hell are you doing!!"  I felt myself going red with embarassment.

"You said you didn't want to stay here." He says, carrying me effortlessly.

I stay as stiff as possible to make it clear how I certainly DO NOT like being carried around.

I finally get a glimpse of the rest of his house, or should I say mansion. It was ginormous. A flight of stairs led straight the living room, filled with comfy couches, a curved wide-screen TV, and gaming supplies.

The entire interior was dark and threatening, but still mesmerizing.
