Kaden's POV

I quickly scramble away from Azel. The humiliation, Oh GOD!!

I wish I could just jump out of the window. What the fuck was I doing. 

I was sitting there and willingly letting him do whatever he wanted with me. What the hell is wrong with me!!

And someone saw it. Someone saw me, an Alpha, letting a man dominate me. 
And I whimpered, fucking whimpered in front of him. Someone just kill me already.

"What do you want?" Azel asks. His voice was dripping with irritation.

The man did not seemed the least bit perturbed despite the fact that Azel looked like he wanted to rip his heart out. He leisurely stretches his legs before getting up from his seat. 

That's when I had a good look of him. He was tall, almost as tall as Azel. His body was well built and buff. But it was his eyes that stood out the most. One was a piercing electric blue, while the other was dark and haunting.

He glanced at me before turning to Azel.

"Who's this?"

"My... mate." Azel says with a bit of apprehension.

The man nods without much surprise.

"What is he? Human?"

"He's a werewolf, an Alpha."

His face darkens when he hears that. He looks at me with so much fury in his eyes that I can't help but take a step backwards. He walks towards me menacingly.

What the hell is his problem!!

Azel jumps in between us, shielding me with his body.

"Ashton, stop! I can't let you hurt him." Azel says with equal amount of anger.
"I know that you've gone through some shit, but if you touch my mate, I'm not about to let you leave unharmed."

They stare at each other for quite some time, before Ashton gives up and finally backs away.

"I suppose I cannot convince you otherwise."

"No. You may not understand, but right now he's far more important to me than you can comprehend."

"Whatever." Ashton sighs. "We need to speak." He says before giving me a cold glance, "Alone."

"Kaden." Azel's voice had softened considerably. "I'll be back in a while."

I watch as Ashton follows Azel to the study.

Why did that guy hate me so much?

Is it because I'm mated to Azel?

I was so lost in thought that I didn't see the two men coming out. Nor did I see one of them leaving the house. 

It wasn't until the familiar smell of citrus and vanilla made its way towards me, did I finally become aware of my surroundings.

"Who was that?"

"My brother, Ashton." He says softly.

"Your brother?" I ask in confusion.

Didn't he say that demons were not born like other creatures. How on earth did he get a brother?

But Azel doesn't elaborate more on the topic.

"He hates me." I continue in a small voice. I don't know why, but it was quite unsettling for someone you've just met to despise you to such an extent.

Azel sighs in disappointment, "I cannot deny that. But it's not really you he hates."

"Then what?"

"He hates your kind."

"Werewolves?"  

Azel nods glumly.

"But why? Why does he hate us so much."

"Well, that's....That's his business, I don't know much about it anyway.", Azel tries to be nonchalant, but it was clear that whatever it was that he was refusing to say was deeply personal.

"Enough distractions. Where were we?"

Azel has me pushed against the wall. His strong arms caging me in. 

The mischievous glint was back in his eyes and his face starts getting closer to mine.

Save me Moon Goddess!!

There's a new character in town y'all. And Ash is quite subjective as a person (I love him anyway!!)
