Seeing Saito here now makes me feel better and it's safe to say that Shito will be fine now. My tears stopped, finally. I think I'll be fine now. There was someone with him, she's wearing a white coat carrying a first-aid bag on her left hand. I can tell that she is a doctor, obviously.

"Mei, how is he?" He asked.

"He looks pretty bad, I carried him to his room when I saw him." I answered.

He turns his eyes to her and looked at me afterwards. He must have noticed that I still don't know about that person behind him. She has a very proper poise and looks very elegant.

"I see, you must be wondering who she is... she's my mom."

I was surprised, I didn't know that Saito's mother is a doctor. It only shows that I really don't know anything about him. Since Saito's mom is a doctor, does it mean he will be one too? I have no idea.

"Where is this Shito?" She asks with a smiling face.

"Uhhm!...he's over there." I replied while pointing at Shito's room. She immediately went there leaving me and Saito at the living room. I was looking at Saito, I can't help but smile at him.

I came to realize that he and his mother are really good people. Why wouldn't they be? He'll get better in no time, I'm sure. What if I got sick and sent to the hospital? Will Saito and his mother look after me?

But that didn't stop me from being embarrassed.

"Wha-What!? Don't stare at me like that, it gives me the creeps." he said.

"Sorry!...but thank you for coming here and your mother too." I apologized.

"It's not really a big deal, besides, my mom loves to help others. That's her motivation to become a good doctor."

After a while, his mother went out of Shito's room and told us that with a nice rest he should be fine by tomorrow. I thanked them afterwards and watched them leave the house. I tried to check on Shito, he's in a deep sleep and I can tell that he's already fine. He seems so tired.

I woke up early to prepare a bento (packed lunch) for Saito. It was to show my gratitude for helping me always. But I'm not quite sure about how will I give it to him while preventing any awkward situations or misunderstandings. I hope he's got his appetite ready.

I arrived at school on time and I immediately went to the classroom. I hid the bento inside my bag before Saito could notice it, the fact that he's seated beside me makes it harder to surprise him. He's also very observant and has a sharp eye which makes it even worse.

During lunch time, I carefully placed the bento on his desk and I also left a message saying my gratitude to him. Well, I owe him so much that I'd feel bad if didn't do something for him in return. This is my hard work in this bento.

He saw it of course but that's it, he's just staring at it like he doesn't know what it is. But I was ready for that, I mean who could possibly be happy especially when you've caused someone so much trouble? But I know he's a nice person.

The truth is that I can't even bare to look at myself. Whenever I see my reflection at the mirror, all I can see is a helpless girl who tries her hardest to study but never even learns from her studies. It feels so sickening. I excel in academics but I'm not like Saito, he's way better than me...

But! I will try my hardest to surpass him, I can't leave it like that. I don't want to lose, not yet. Until my parents see what I'm capable of, I do not intend to lose.

Moreover, I want to show the person who saved me that I can also protect myself and do stuff on my own.

Yes, that's it! This is only the beginning.

Be prepared Sagara Saito! I will never give up no matter what, don't underestimate my capabilities.

"Class, please turn your books to page 237. We will be studying about the solar system."

The class today is really boring, especially when you have already studied the topic last year. But I can say that it's really effective. When you have already memorized, it's only a matter of time when you will be forgetting it afterwards.

I know what I said about "this is only the beginning," and stuff, but my eyes won't keep open because I always lack sleep. Whoever invented alarm clocks, thanks for making me grow eyebags.

After class, my teacher asked me to hand an important document to the soccer leader. It was a list on attendances by the members which the club leader has to fill up.

I wanted to buy some snacks but responsibility comes first. I immediately went to the field area and there I saw a lively crowd. A game was on.

Almost all of the girls from my class are cheering for someone. I tried to walk in the crowds out of curiosity. I saw Saito kicking a ball and then, "GOAL!" the commentator said. He is really good at sports, I wished I was too. My body's too fragile to do sports.

I saw Shito beside him, I completely forgot that he was the soccer leader.

It seems that it's not yet time to hand him these, I need to let them finish the game first. It'd rude to interrupt them and I'd look like a fool.

So I tried to find a sit and watch them as they continue playing. Then they eventually announced the final set.

When you look at his face, you can clearly see the determination and energy he has. And the other members too. They were challenging a soccer club from a different school.

"Goal! for Daiki Shito!" the commentator said as the girls make their cheering more lively. Saito and Shito are really awesome, It's like they are the only ones in the field. All the other members depend on them greatly, like kings. The whole team would fall apart if they're not there.

I'm glad that Shito recovered very quickly, it's all thanks to Saito and his mother. Saito and Shito even made it to the game in time.

And guess what happened? They won! That made me very satisfied. They made my day less boring. It actually made me energized, looking at them. Look what teamwork can do for you.

Alright, I'll also do better than my best!
