Chapter 2:Knowing

I wanted to give our teacher a violent reaction for this, but I had no choice. I just need to make this work. But.....speaking of making this work,HOW!!, with that attitude, I would never survive. Plus, our project is about social dancing and we need to perform it in front of our other classmates.

"Class, kindly go to your partners already and plan your output."

I moved my chair near him and waited silently for his response.

"Looks like I'm paired with you little miss, but I think that you will just slow me down." he said.

"For your information, I'm a good dancer and I can dance without a partner" I replied.

"Hahaha but It wouldn't be called social dancing if you dance alone idiot."

Because of that I couldn't even look at him already out of embarrassment from what I said. He's really getting on my nerves but I need to be patient in order for me to finish this meaningless project.

He said that he will be coming to my house on Saturday to practice, but wait! A boy coming to my house is really inappropriate and plus, my parents are not home and additionally.....Shito will be there. Just thinking about it makes me dizzy. It would be very awkward for both of them. I wanted to say no but I had no choice either.

It's already dismissal and as I try to go home, I saw Shito waiting for me outside the school. By the way, Shito was also my classmate but he's in a different section. I've always wanted to go home alone, but I never did because his always waiting for me. I hate it how he always treats me like a child.

Saturday morning came, and I waited for him to arrive. I told Shito about it, and it was okay for him too. In fact, he was quite happy that I was able to make new friends. I think that he doesn't really know that it was really a boy.

Then Saito finally came and as expected, Shito was surprised just as I thought. I won't judge him for his reactions because I, even my parents never really invited a boy in our house. All I can think is about finishing the project so I just dragged Saito to our backyard and practice there.

"You have a brother?" He said to me with a calm voice.

"No, he is my cousin, Shito." I replied.

Then silence began to merge between us. I began to talk to him calmly.

"So...what will be the first step?" I said to him bluntly.

He suddenly raised his' right hand and grabbed my left hand, as for his' left hand, he puts it on my waist. I don't know what he is doing, I have no experience of dancing with a partner before. I just followed his' every step. He looked at me with a soulful eyes, and I started panicking because of it. To be honest, he was quite cool all of a sudden.

"Thanks for coming.....today" I said to him.

"You should be honored that you have me as your partner." He replied.

"Wait what! I wouldn't feel honored because of that, I also have dancing skills too."

"Okay." He said to me with sarcasm.

I knew it, there is nothing good about him, he keeps on pissing me off. But I was happy that we finally finished the dance in a short period of time. I admit that he was also skilled but I'm more better than him I think.
