"Yea, a good sunny weekend. Finally.", Blaise said stretching as he, Astoria and Mayrah stepped out to the lakeside on a weekend.

"I still feel like a third wheel.", Mayrah commented, rolling her eyes.

"Come on, you hadn't been out in weeks, this is the last weekend before we go away for christmas.", Blaise said. Mayrah kept to herself unless talking to Blaise, Luna or Ginny. She did have a word with Neville and Astoria too sometimes. Other than this handful people, she literally hated to talk to anyone. She attended classes, went through a monotonous routine and went to sleep, everyday just to continue, hoping one day she will get a chance to fight for what all she lost.

"Still, you and Tori could have some time alone. Its just that even Luna has gone somewhere with Neville and Ginny.", she said shaking her head, looking at the surroundings.

"Yeah and you thought that you were the thirdwheel, didn't know you two had nicknames for each other.", Blaise commented as they sat down by the lakeside.

"No, its just what she calls me. We got together pretty well when she taught me potions last month", Astoria explained, "I don't have a name for her though, how about May?", she asked with the most innocent intentions.

The color drained out of Mayrah's face as Blaise held Astoria's arm to say no. "Oh god! He called you that. Shucks! I am sorry Mayrah. I didn't mean to!", explained Tori as soon as she realised what she had done.

"No worries. Its just me. I have become stupid enough that everything reminds me of him. Even the nicknames, this lake, this school, myself. Every damn thing. I am going a bit mental.", she said shaking her head at the disappointment she had become.

"At least you didn't give in.", Blaise said, "Didn't give in to him and join the other side, you stood true to your morals, thats what counts."

She smiled back at him weakly. They talked about random things for hours. Astoria wanted to know things about the muggle world as she was so fascinated by it.

"Whats that?", Astoria asked as she looked up at the sky randomly, they saw a few black cloak like figures swarming at a distance.

"STAND BACK ITS THE DEMENTORS!", Mayrah immediately shouted sheilding her best friends,  taking out her wand. The surroundings were getting dark, clouds, gloominess and an eerie chill, a characterstic of dementors taking over the place.

She just had to think of a happy memory, she knew the spell and its technicalities, "Expecto Patronum.", she shot and only week silvery strings came out. The dementors were drawing near. "Why is it so cold?", Astoria asked concerned.

Mayrah had to think fast, she thought of her memories with her guardians, her memories with Alyla and tried again, again a half hearted attempt in vain as the dementors swarmed in encircling them.

She closed her eyes and forced herself to live all the good times she had with Draco, even though he had acted it all for his use, she still had loved him truly through all of it, she forced herself to live the best of their memories together knowing that it was going to hurt later.

"EXPECTO PATRONUM!!", a strong silvery ball erupted taking shape of a ferret and casting away the dementors, "Quickly, lets move to the castle, I can keep them at bay till then!", she instructed and the other two followed her sheild till they safely reached the castle gates, blocking the dementors outside, and ran off to the library. Blaise checked if Astoria was okay, so did she and both of them turned to Mayrah.

Mayrah sat down, panting at the exhaustion the spell brought in with it, Astoria offered her water, as the two of them sat down too. "Well, that wasn't definately my idea of hanging out, sorry Mayrah.", Tori said.
