I smiled to myself, entering the password of my house as I think of the silly jokes Hyunjin made when we had our dinner.
"I'm home!" I walked towards the living room and threw myself on the sofa, announcing my presence in the house.
Not long after, loud footsteps could be heard, marching towards me.
"What have you bought for me?" Jeongin asked as he jumped on the sofa next to me, looking at the paper bags in my hand. I look at him with a small frown.
"Did you ask me to buy something?" I asked out of curiosity, worried that I missed his text or something.
"No, but you should always buy me something when you go out" he looked at me pointly, crossing his arms in front of his chest. I chuckled lightly.
"I'm not your Mom, kiddo" I told him with a cheeky smile. He looked at me with a big frown on his face.
"You look happy. What happened?" he asked with a disgusted expression, as if me, being happy is not a normal thing to happen.
"Well, I did or did not go on a date with Hyunjin" I said cheekily as I brushed out a strand of hair behind my ear. Jeongin's eyes widened as he fully turned to face me.
"Wait, seriously?" he asked, fully confused and amazed.
"Well, it's not actually a date. It's just hangout" I sighed, lowkey sad. Jeongin stared at me for a while before humming, and leaned his back on the sofa as he reached for the TV's remote.
"Well, that's a progress I guess" he shrugged.
"Progress?" I questioned. He looked back at me.
"Yeah, of you two being together?" he said, more to the point of questioning me. I understand what he said almost immediately as I slowly leaned on the sofa as well, looking at the TV.
"Do you think me and him will be together?" I asked him, wondering.
"Probably. Well, I don't know. Everything is in your hand" he took a glance at me. I hummed.
"His as well, we can't be together if he doesn't like me" I spit out the words which lowkey pained my heart.
"True" Jeongin agreed. Something sparks inside me as I quickly turn to Jeongin.
"Anyway, he invited me to his house tomorrow" I told him with an excited smile.
He may have no interest in me but being his friend is already enough to make me happy.
"That quick?" Jeongin exclaimed, looking at me in horror. I frowned, not understanding him.
"Don't you think it's too early for you guys to—" he started but I quickly cut him off as soon as I understood what he's talking about.
"What are you thinking, idiot? He's celebrating his dog's birthday tomorrow" I stopped him by slapping his arm with a pillow. I watch how his face turns into realisation as he chuckles at his silly self.
