Chapter 14

Tyler POV

She was pushing me away even after we kissed and spent time together. Looking at her bruise and cut lip my anger towards Cam had increased 10 fold. She doesn’t deserve this, “why did you kiss me then. If I’m nothing why kiss me and spend time with me.” I moved towards her until we were inches apart. She didn’t move back or flinch, “Rose I can help you let me pay for you and you can pay me back. I won’t hurt you like he did.”

“No Ty you can’t get involved. Cam will hurt anyone I care about” I brush my thumb wiping away her tears. I couldn’t help but stare at her she was so beautiful.

“You care about me?” I asked not sure if it was true.

“That day in the kitchen you were going to ask me something. What were you going to say?” she looked almost desperate.

“I was going to ask you to dinner just me and you. No one to ruin it or to hurt you.” She looked at me wide eyed, did I say something wrong.

“I can’t not yet anyway” she began to tear up. Why can’t she just go out with me?

“Why not Rose. I care about you and you deserve better than him”

“So that’s why. You feel pity for me. I don’t need your charity; I’ve had enough of that to last a life time.” She took a deep breath and headed for the stairs muttering something that I just about caught “I can’t believe I thought he liked me”

I ran up behind her to her room and went and sat next to her on the bed. She was looking at her phone looking quite worried.

“I like you” I let out. “I feel like I know you, K talked about you all the time. I’m not pitying you. I would have asked you out anyway. Please give me a chance.”

                     

Rose POV

“Ty you’re an actor a damn good one as well, you were kind to me even though you didn’t know me, I’m nothing just like Cam always told me.” Cams words ran through my head again and again.

“He treated you like crap and I promise to never hurt you like he did. I know you’re scared that he will hurt me but he won’t. I’m a big boy I can handle myself” my lips twitches into a smile I couldn’t help but feel good when I was around Tyler.

“Fine, if I go on a date with you, you have to promise me that you will be careful, I can’t let anything happen to you” he nodded and pulled me into a hug.

“Thank you. Now go get ready you need a distraction” I went to go get dressed and didn’t know what to wear. Was it going to be a formal thing or just a normal movie or something? I was standing in front of my cupboard just staring at all my clothes when someone patted my shoulder. I turned around and hit my nose on Ty’s chest damn that hurt.

“Wear something casual” he spoke. I went to my wardrobe and picked out a pair of light coloured skinny jeans and an off the shoulder jumper and my favourite wedge shoes. I put on a bit of concealer to cover up the slight bruise on my face. When I got downstairs Ty was sat there with a light black hoodie and sunglasses trying to hide his face.

“What’s up with the hoodie and glasses” I asked

“If anyone sees me then there will be paparazzi on my tail and I don’t want that. Especially because of my break up” I just nodded and we were off. We took my car but Ty drove we pulled up to an ice rink. Well this is going to go badly.
