Chapter 15

We walked in and it was empty except for one guy. We walked up to him and Ty did his man hug thing and I just stood there quietly. The man asked for my shoe size and I told him and then Ty dragged me over to the rink.

“Just so you know I can’t skate to save my life” I was literally shitting myself just looking at the ice.

“I’ll hold you” he whispered into my ear. He intertwined his fingers with mine and led me onto the ice. As soon as I stepped onto it I slipped and grabbed onto Ty for dear life. “Don’t worry I’ve got you” he was behind me at this point holding my waist loosely.

We walked forward and a thought crossed my mind “why is this place empty” I couldn’t see his face but I knew he heard me.

“Because I paid Clay to shut the place down early, so we could be alone” we were moving slowly on the ice I was getting better at it but I was still scared. Ty let go of me and took a step back leaving me frozen on the spot. “Come toward me” he gestured with his hand. I started moving but sort of slipped straight into his arms. His grip on my waist tightened to keep me steady but I winced because of my previous injury.

“What happened are you ok?” he looked into my eyes worried.

“I’m ok it’s just my waist still hurts a bit.”

“I’m sorry I forgot” he said whilst rubbing his neck. Aww he looks adorable when he does that.

“I’m not adorable” he raised an eyebrow at me. Wait did I say that out loud. “Yes you did” he let go of me and moved further away. Again he motioned for me to come over and I tried and didn’t fall this time. “See you’re getting better” he held on to my hand and I tripped and pulled him down with me.

“Ow” I groaned “I’m sorry” instead of replying. He moved his head towards me and his eyes were trained on my lips. He gave me plenty of time to back out but I didn’t and then he kissed me. It was a short sweet kiss nothing like Cam.

He got up and put his hand out for me to get up I took it and I continued to learn how to skate.  Let’s just say that the next hour was spent with me slipping and sliding all over the place. But Ty was there to protect me; maybe this could work after all.

We left the rink to go get something to eat we both decided on pizza so Ty drove down to one of my favourite pizza places.

“Come on you will love it here its quiet and there aren’t many people around to see you.” I loved coming here I always used to come here whenever I had enough of Cam.

As we walked inside I was greeted by the owner who also happens to be a close family friend.

“Hey Pete,” I ran and gave him a hug. He was more like an uncle to me. “Ty this is Pete and Pete this is Ty” they both shook hands and we went to go sit down.  

“OMG your Tyler Hoechlin” our waitress yelled. I just looked at her

“Hi” he waved. Really is that all he could do.

“OMG your voice is so much sexier in person and why are you with her she’s ugly, your so fit you deserve someone better looking at least” her words stung and tears sprung to my eyes. I composed myself and let my eyes drift to the floor.

“Were not ready to order yet can you leave us for a minute” he’s such a gentleman. She flipped her hair and swayed her hips as she walked off. He scoffed and looked back at me lifting my chin and moving hair out my eyes. “Don’t listen to her, you’re beautiful” he held on to my hand and kissed my knuckles.

“I’m going to go over there and order so she doesn’t come back” I nodded and he left. Ty came back a couple minutes later looking pissed.

“What’s wrong” I asked.

“That girl made me take a picture with her, I just wanted a night out alone with you without worrying about people following and ruining everything.” He sighed and his head dropped to his hands.  I went over to sit next to him and pulled him into a hug a few minutes later our food arrived and Pete was the one to bring it.

“Hey try enjoys this, don’t worry about anything else” he smiled at me and we began to eat.

“Do you want to go to the club I need to get something from there.”  I had an idea about the money but I’m not sure if it will work

We left the restaurant and there was two paparazzi vans outside. Ty held on to me as we made our way to the car. He opened my door like a gentleman and I slid in and he went round and got in.

When we got to the club we went straight to the private rooms upstairs.

“No one knows about this except my family and some of the staff” I lifted the painting off the wall to expose the safe hidden behind the wall. I punched in the code and took out a small black box I handed it to Ty and shut the safe. I went over and sat next to him and opened the box.
