Chapter 18

About half an hour later we pulled up to this beautiful house, I got out and a woman who I assume was Tyler’s Mom came outside.

“Hey honey, I’ve been waiting for you what took you so long” she hugged him and I smiled.

“Alright mom, this is my Girlfriend Rose. Rose this is my mom” she pulled me into a hug and I was quite surprised by the gesture. She squeezed my tight and my ribs hurt and I hissed.

“Mom stop your hurting her” she pulled away

“Sorry dear. I’m Lori why don’t you come inside I was just about to make dinner”

“Hey you alright” Ty asked me. I tiptoed and kissed his cheek.

“I’m fine” I held his hand and he took me inside into the kitchen. 

“Dad” Ty hugged his dad and he turned to me.

“You must be Rose, Tyler had told me a lot about you. I’m Don” I shook his hand and smiled.

“Um Mrs Hoechlin do you need any help” she was cutting up vegetables.

“Dear call me Lori, I don’t know what to make for dessert, why don’t you pick something”

“I don’t  mind making it, I’m actually doing a bakery course in Uni”

“Ah that’s good, I can t really cook sweet things and Tyler happens to have a sweet tooth” the doorbell rang . “Honey that should be one of you siblings go and get the door will you. Rose Tyler’s favourite is Lemon Cheesecake. I think I have everything why don’t you make that” I nodded and got to work.

“Guys this is my girlfriend Rose, these are my brothers and sister Carrie, Travis and Tanner”

“Hi it’s nice to meet you” I shook their hands “Sorry I’m a mess I’m making  dessert” I laughed.

“What you making babe”

“None of your business get out of the kitchen now boys” Lori ushered them out and Carrie Lori and I were left.

“You’re really pretty you look good with Ty compared to his last girlfriend”  she smiled and I thanked her.

We made general conversation for a while and I finished dessert I put it in the fridge to set and Carrie went to set the Table. Lori and I took the food in and we sat down. We ate and made light convorsaation.

“So, Rose what is it that you do”

“I’m still at Uni I am doing a bakery and confectionary management course.  I own a private club, well I own the building and one of my friends runs it” I smiled at Don

“That’s good, Ty you got yourself a keeper she can cook. Tell us a bit about your family” he smiled at his son.

“Well I have an older brother K”

“Ah your K’s sister, he’s a good lad”

“Ye he’s the best brother anyone could ask for. My mom doesn’t work she’s a carer for my grandma and my dad has his own business” I smiled at him

“Let’s clean up and we can have dessert in the living room” I helped clean up and I took the cheesecake in.

Lori served it and everyone ate in silence, “wow that was so good I’m kidnapping your girl Ty” Travis spoke I laughed.

“No you don’t she’s mine” He pulled me into his lap and wrapped his arms around me.

“Aww there so cute, you’ll make beautiful grandbabies” I blushed and hid my face in my hands.

“You’re all probably tired go to bed now” I said goodnight and Ty took me up to his room. I changed my clothes and got into bed. Ty pulled me into his chest and kissed my neck.

“I like the idea of you carrying our children” he whispered huskily.

“I like the idea too” I whispered back. This moment was amazing and I didn’t want to let it go. I closed my eyes and fell asleep with a smile on my face.
