Evelyn and Hope shifted into their human forms and smiled at each other. "See,that wasn't so bad was it?" Evelyn teased.

"Oh,shut up." Hope rolled her eyes fondly, before they both walked to where they knew there father's were at. They were arguing and Klaus had the white oak stake pointed at his heart.

"Dad?" Hope called out.

"What's going on here?" Evelyn asked.

Klaus ignored both of them and turned to Elijah, "Get them out of here."

"Your death is not the answer." Elijah said to him.

"Death?" Hope gasped. "Wh-What are you talking about?"

"They put it into you." Evelyn realized, "But you told us that they put it into something safe, and instead, you use Hope's first transition and tricked me into turning. So what happens, you just kill yourself and the magic goes away?" Evelyn turned her gaze to her father, "And you're gonna let him go through with this?"

"I don't need his permission to save your lives!" Klaus snapped.

"Come back with me to New Orleans, Niklaus." Elijah tried, "We'll find another way."

"We both know that's not gonna happen." Klaus turned back to the two girls, "I'm sorry, Hope, Evelyn, I've made my decision."

Hope raised her hand and knocked him out "And I've made mine."

"The energy will feed off of that strength. He'll quickly go mad, and... it won't be long before he's unrecognizable and impossibly dangerous to all of us." Freya explained to Hope and Evelyn.

"Okay. Well, how long does that take?" Evelyn asked, "Days?"

"More like... hours." Freya said.

"So, today?" Hope confirmed.

"Yeah." Freya nodded.

Hope exhaled, "All right. Then we're gonna have to pull the darkness out of him, divide it up again."

"And then we end up where we started, with the family scattered to the corners of the world until something calls them back." Freya said.

"Well, then we keep him asleep, okay? He won't be angry when he's asleep. We'll just brick him up in the Head Garden. That'll at least slow it down." Hope tried.

Freya shook her head,"I need you to hear me on this, Hope. There's not enough magic in the world to slow this down."

Hope and Evelyn stood in the dungeon where they had put Klaus,he was gone.

Marcel walked up to the two, "So it's true."

"We have to find him." Evelyn said.

"It's Mardi Gras out there. The streets'll be packed to the rafters." Marcel stated.
