Ch 16 Duet

Authors Note: HEY HEY HAPPY NEW YEAR"S EVE!!! NEW CHAPTER!!!

Juno POV: 

I'm skipping down the halls to my next class, scheming how to get that grey wolf into my clutches. He's...so handsome and we'd make such a pretty couple. The power couple of school. I can see it now! 

Legoshi and Juno. Juno and Legoshi. We will be the foundation of this school. With Legoshi at my side there is nothing stopping me from becoming the next BEASTAR!

He's just too shy for his own good. He hasn't seen what we could be, if we were together. I'll make him see just how powerful we will be. 

"Umm Juno? We're supposed to be taking notes..." a sheep next to me whispers out of the side of her mouth. 

"Oh! Thanks Lexi," I quickly pulls out my notebook and pencil, and shove away the thoughts of world domination with Legoshi. 

Once again, I seemed to get lost in thought. Imagines of us waving to crowds of adoring fans as we are carried away on a parade float. Achievement after achievement will pave our future together. Things would be so perfect. If only he knew how much we could accomplish together.

"Juno! Class is over!" Lexi sounds exasperated at my unfocused brain. 

"Omgggg Lexi, you're life saver. Thanks for letting me know! By the way can i borrow your notes for today's class?" I stuff my things into my bag and turn to face her. Lexi is already pulling out her notes and handing them to me. 

"Once again you are amazing. Thank you!" I call back to her as I rush out of the lecture hall to the theatre room. 

Time to make my dreams a reality.

The Sun has already set on the campus and only a few animals were ambling about in the theatre room. One such animal was Legoshi. His hands are speckled with paints of all colors. A brush firmly in place between his teeth as he works on one of the sets. 

I blush at the sight of him. He's even more attractive when he's so focused on something. I could  just stand here watching work for hours. I'm hoping that this dreaminess that I feel is not present on my face. But my blush definitely shows. 

I take a moment to look away from his handsomeness to see that we're the only ones left in the room. He hasn't seemed to notice me yet. 

Now's my chance.

"Legoshi... could you help me with something?" I inquire to the grey wolf.

Legoshi jolts to reality as he finally notices me. His head bumping into a plank of wood above him. He huffs out in annoyance but looks over at me. 

"Oh my! Are you okay?" I dash over to him as he is rubbing his head. 

"I-I'm fine. It was just a bump to the head i've felt worse." He stands up to look me in the eyes but it was only until now that I realized there was a big height difference between us. 

"Could you help me practice a scene for my dance?"

"Ummm sure.. I've seen the dance before so I guess I can help." Legoshi scratches the back of his head as he speaks. I stare at him with dreamy eyes. 

He approaches me as I start to move with practiced ease of the dance. I try and focus on the choreography but that look in his eyes is too distracting. 

" Ah Juno... try doing this," He takes my arm into his hand, and guides it to do something but my mind isn't quite focusing as the proximity between us is getting smaller and smaller. We start to sway to an invisible rhythm and gracefully flow into the movements of the dance. His long body against mine was thrilling, the ecstasy of this moment was too strong to describe. 

We complimented each other perfectly. Our bodies swaying in a nice fluid motion. One move after another until the scene was complete. We stood there in each others arms and suddenly we hear a clapping echoing through the room and our bodies. 

"Pretty impressive for a freshman."
