Ch 7 Acknowledgement

Jack POV

I feel my eyes my eye lashes flutter as I hear the quiet, but noticable, ringing sound that is being emitted from my phone's alarm.

Sitting up from my bed I stretch my arms out in an attempt to wake myself up. I swing my legs off my bed and begin to make my way down the ladder when realization struck me as my feet touched the ground. I fell asleep in Legoshi's bed!

Jumping out onto the ground I look up to see Legoshi passed out on my bed. His tail hanging right off the bed swinging from side to side. He's so cute when he sleeps!

Suddenly memories from last night flood my mind as a deep red spreads throughout my face. My eyes widen as I replay the events of the previous night. A few tears gather in my eyes as I quickly rush out of the room.

I slam the door shut and make my way to my classes.

Legoshi POV

My eyes open to the blurry image of grey all around me. As the environment around me comes into view I realize that I overslept. Jumping out of bed I look around my room to see Jack gone already. I'm surprised he didn't wake me up?

I speedily get dressed and pack my things up for class. Running out the door a feeling of panic rushes over me as I realize second period had ended.

Rushing to get to my third period class on time my eyes meet a familiar face as I open the door.

"Oh hey Jack," I say in a cheery mood.

He doesn't respond, but instead looks away. Why did he ignore me? Making my way to my seat I shoot Jack one more look to see what he's up to. My eyes widen as I am surprised to see him staring back at me. When he noticed me staring back he quickly turned away. What's is that sneaky dog up to?

The rest of the class went as normaly except for the fact that I could swear I felt Jack's eyes on me several tines throughout the duration of the class. I get up from my seat and stretch out as the bell rings. Gathering my things I get ready to go when Jack approaches me.

"Hey Legoshi," Jack says blankly. "What were you and Louis doing last night?"

"Uh w-what are you talking about?" I respond nervously. I could've sworn no one was around to see us sneak out last night.

"I saw you two together last night and I was wondering what you guys were doing." Jack responds continuing to stare back at me.

"U-uh it must've been some other wolf you were talking about because i-uh wasn't hanging out with Louis yesterday." My voice quivering as I waited for a response.

"Oh ok then." Jack sounded dejected and looked away. Just like that he walked off into the swarm of students in the halls. I thought no one caught us last night.

Looking back down I gather my things and make my way out the lecture halls' doors. I wonder what's up with Jack today? He doesn't seem like he wants to speak with me today so I shouldn't question him but...
