Ch 9 Bonding

Author Note: yo yo yo its me again. You're BFFFFFFF. Well I'm not actually your bffffff but ya know. Anyways, on to the story

Juno POV 

I'm introducing myself to these new animals from the theater club. Louis, the soon to be Beastar stares at me. I can't believe it! It's actually him. I can't wait to steal that title and swipe that smug smile off his face. I smile innocently at them all. 

"I can't wait to be a part of the dance team! I'll try my best." My tail wags in excitement. Suddenly, the door bangs open. We all whip our heads in the direction of the noise. A large, lanky grey wolf sheepishly stands there. His ears fold in embarrassment at the attention that he was getting. My eyes widen. Another grey wolf! Fresh meat. 

I quickly approach him and stick out my paw. 

"Hi I'm Juno. I'm going to be one of the dancer on the team." My smile never leaving my face. He takes my paw and shakes it. 

"Umm... H-hi...I'm Legoshi. I.... um..I work with the crew on the um lighting" Legoshi stutters. He lets go of my hand. I stare up into his dark brown eyes. He is quick to glance away. Everyone around us has gone back to work and doing their own thing. I guess I'll talk to them later then. 

"Juno." Louis stands tall and glares down at me, "You still have to officially meet the whole dance team." 

"Okay, coming," I turn back to Legoshi, "I'll see you later, right?"

"Uh...um... sure..." Legoshi draws out his words slowly, seeming unsure. I grin up at him and walk over toward Louis.

I sit on the ground and stretch. The other girls from the team have already made their way back to their dorms. We got to talk about what we wanted to go for the festival. Although we still have the play to finish. It's good to brainstorm.

I hear steady footsteps approaching me. 

"We don't need you here at the moment. We still have the play to finish. You can go home." I glance up and see Louis. His arms are crossed and his eyes staring intently at me. 

"I'm fine with staying. I want to practice a few routines." I stand up and walk past Louis to grab my water bottle. 

"Besides, as the future Beastar I must be perfect with the things I do. Right Louis?" I twirl around and stare Louis in the eyes. He glares right back at me. I take confident steps towards Louis until I am almost face to face with the deer. 

"I will be the next Beastar. Nothing can stop me. You're just a stepping stone on my path of success." A smirk grows on my face. Louis' eyes burn holes on my face as he stays silent. 

"What cats got your tongue? I knew you wouldn't be that much of a competitor even if all the girls fall at your feet but you're still just a deer." I feel a slight pang of guilt for saying these things but whatever can help me reach the top I'll do it. Louis turns on his heels and walks out. Calmly. That's surprising. I would have thought he would have snarled in my face but its seems like he's being a coward today. 

I chuckle as I think about what the other students would have thought about their dear Louis tucking his tail and running away from a fight. 

A loud clang grabs my attention. I turn to see that Legoshi was up in the rafters messing around with the lights. They flicker on and off as he pushes different buttons. 

Huh. We'd make a cute couple.   

His slender figure would stand next to mine as I receive the title Beastar. Everyone would clap and he would hand me a bouquet of flowers. We'd be the most popular couple in the school. Everyone would be jealous. Two most attractive students from the academy dating each other. What a dream~

My eyes snap back into focus as I am brought back to reality. Legoshi is climbing down to the ground. I blush slightly as I recount my thoughts from before. I timidly approach him. This is the perfect time to talk to him. 

"Oh..um.. Hi Juno," Legoshi turned around to see me standing there. I smile shyly up at him, "Are you liking the theater club?" 

"Yeah, definitely! Plus you being here makes things better," My hands are clasped behind my back and my face is red. 

"Oh yeah.... some studies say that animals feel more relaxed when their around their own species. So if you're ever nervous or anything just come talk to me. We wolves have to stick together," He holds out his fist waiting for a fist bump. I reluctantly bump my fist to his.

I guess it's going to take time for his to feel the same as I do. 

"Hehe... yeah. I'll come to you if I need help with anything," My smile new wavers but I feel my heart sink when I realized that he didn't share my feelings. 

"Yo!" A loud voice interrupts  our moment. We both look over and see Kai. "Guys, play ended a while ago. Go home." Kai glares at Legoshi and shakes his head while he walks away. 

"Umm.. I better get to my dorm. I'll see you tomorrow I guess," Legoshi walks off to grab his stuff and leave. 

And then I'm alone. 

Legoshi POV. 

The auditorium door shuts behind me as I walk out into the cold night. My backpack feels heavier then this morning. I guess I wore myself out today. I start in the direction of my dorms. 

That new girl seems interesting. A bit strange but interesting. 

I continue to walk to my room as the thoughts of her fade away and are replaced with thoughts of Jack. I wonder what he's doing. Maybe he's watching a movie with the others. I hope he's feeling better then he was this morning. He was acting really strange. I didn't even see him at lunch. 

I reach to door to my room and walk in. As I push open the door and the hallway lights pour in I notice something. 

Jack is no where to be seen. 

Author Note: uwuwuwuwuuwu Cliffhanger my dudes. Can't wait for the next chapter. It will be even better then this if I'm writing again lol. Juno is already my favorite character. Can't wait to see more of her. jkjk. Kai is where it's at. Its fun to write someone being mean to Legoshi. Till next time <3<3<3<3<3
