Mr. Novak's POV

That was quite the endeavour, and a wonderful one at that. I knew that I wouldn't be able to get the way he looked...the way he tasted, out of my mind for a long time.

I collected my things and walked towards the door. I looked back at that desk. "Oh, dear me. That seems to have been Ms. Braedon's desk." I chuckled to myself. "What a shame."

The cloud of lust that had come over me, lifted on the drive back, and I returned to my stoic self. Either way, I knew Gabriel would overload me questions. Which I would provide answers, that may or may not be true. Answers nonetheless.

When I arrived home, as soon as I opened the door, I heard Gabriel. "Oh, brother! You've returned home late. Again." He walked out from his bedroom. "What would be the cause of that this time?"

I sighed and hung my trenchcoat on a hook next to the front door. "Looking after Mr. Winchester. Again."

"Did he frustrate you or something?" He tilted his head. "Because your hair is really messed up, Cas."

I raised an eyebrow. "It is?"

"Very."

I shrugged, pretending I had no clue why my hair was the way it was. "Oh well. Either way, he was quite the handful."

He laughed. "Yeah, I heard he threw a paper football at Lisa Braedon, in your class."

"Oh yes, he did. In turn, his punishment was two weeks in detention, with me, for three hours." I walked off to my bedroom.

"I'm gonna have to cook my own dinner for nine more days?!" Gabriel yelled after me.

Making my voice loud enough for him to hear me, I said, "Yes, Gabriel. It will be good practice for you. Just try not to catch the house on fire. Please."

I walked out of my room with pajamas on. "No promises," he confessed. "Also, pizza is on the counter."

I yawned. "I'm fine. Not really hungry."

"Seriously, Cas?" He asked, surprised.

I looked at him. "No. I'm starving myself, brother." Obvious sarcasm laced my voice.

"Geez. Go to bed, Grumpy," he remarked and walked back into his room.

I yawned again. "I was planning on it."

I laid on my bed for about an hour, in the dark, with my thoughts.

I was thinking over the whole thing with Dean. I was scared someone would find out. I was scared that I was doing something horribly wrong.

But it felt like the right thing to do at the same time.

It's not such a bad thing. He is the legal age. He has consented to all that has happened so far. I didn't know why I was so worried.

Was I scared I'd hurt him somehow?

I'd never purposefully hurt him. I care too much.

After all of those thoughts, detention kept replaying. Over and over and over, and over again. Every single detail. My mind went back over every one.

That happened until I fell asleep.

My dreams were filled with it. I'm not complaining though.
