Castiel's POV

I woke up the next morning to the phone obnoxiously ringing on the nightstand next to my bed. I groaned and grabbed in the air next to me until my hand found and wrapped around the phone. I picked up and put it next to my ear, while my face was still in the pillow. "Hello?" My greeting was extremely muffled, but it didn't really matter because it was a recorded message, informing me that school was out for flooding.

I groggily got out of bed and shuffled my way to Gabriel's room. I lightly shook his shoulder. "Huh?" He grumbled, turning over towards me. He opened his eyes a tiny bit.

I yawned. "There's no school due to flooding."

His eyes widened, almost like he had full energy. "Seriously?!" He picked up his phone, quickly putting it to his ear. "Hey! There's no school today because of flooding here, but that won't stop you from coming over. Will it?" He waited for an answer. "Great! Can't wait to see you! Bye." He tossed his phone next to him and excitedly looked up at me. "Anna is coming over today!"

He deeply sighed and propped myself on the wall because I hadn't even woken up in the slightest bit yet. "Thank you for asking first, brother."

"You're welcome, Cas!" Gabriel stood up and stretched.

I yawned once more and asked, "When is she coming over?"

"She said she'd probably be here at around noon." He walked off toward the kitchen, I slowly following him.

"What time is it now?" I asked, trying to open my eyes more, but then getting blinded by the sun. I grunted.

He pulled his head out of the fridge, looking at the clock. "Seven, thirty-four."

I turned on the coffee machine and sat down at the table. I clicked onto my school email, checking to see if I had any important ones. I saw a student emailed me, so I checked it.

It was Dean.

It read, 'School is out. I'm sure you know. If you need or wanna to talk to me today, here's my number.'
(___)___-____
'I don't know about you taking me out tonight like you said, but again, my number is there if ya wanna text or talk or whatever.'

A sense of happiness flew over me. I had Dean's number and I could just text him whenever I wanted.

"What are you reading, Cas?" Gabriel asked me from across the kitchen, while I was typing Dean's number into my contacts.

I closed out of my email quickly and responded. "I was just checking my email." I stood up and walked over to the coffee machine. "Nothing special."

"Do you want Nutella on your bagel?" Gabriel asked as the coffee poured out of the machine, into my black, glossy mug.

I put three teaspoons of sugar into my morning enhancer. "Yes."

He popped the bagels into the toaster and faced me. "They'll be ready in a couple minutes." He smiled and basically skipped to his room. I, on the other hand, went and put on some grey sweatpants and a plain, black shirt.

Sipping on my coffee and sitting down at the table, I decided to give texting Dean a try.

C - "Good morning."

Gabriel walked back into the kitchen and carefully pulled the bagels out of the toaster, proceeding to lather them in a chocolate spread.

He sat a plate with two of the bagels on it, in front of me. "Breakfast!" He exclaimed and grabbed his plate, then sat in front of me.

I sipped my coffee again. "Thank you, brother." I took the first bite of a bagel and my phone buzzed on the table, making a louder noise than I wanted it to.

D - "Morning. :)"

Gabriel snickered at my slightly surprised expression. "You're welcome."

C - "How's your morning been?"

D - "I haven't really done anything, but good since there's no school, and I'm texting you. What about your's?"

C - "Same actually. I have bagels, too. So that's enjoyable."

Gabriel coughed. "What?" I asked as I looked up at him.

He raised an eyebrow. "Who are you over there texting? You usually never text."

"Just a friend, Gabriel. I don't need to tell you about everything I do." I placed my phone in my pocket, and washed my plate off.

I went and flopped onto the couch, pulling my phone out of my pocket.

D - "Delicious."

C - "Not as delicious as you, though. >;)"

D - "XD Of course. Thanks."

C - "You're welcome. And I'm still taking you out tonight."

D - "Where?"

C - "Just meet me in the parking lot of the golf course place at 7."

D - "Oh. Okay. Wasn't expecting golf."

C - "You'll see."

I ended up falling asleep on the couch and waking up to Anna poking my shoulder. "Wake up, sleepy!"

I grunted and sat up. "Hello, Anna."
