[AB6IX Woong]

A cold wind outside my window
You told me your story
Under the unusually cold winter starlight
We were sparkling
along that star

"Haile, come out. Bilis!" I demanded over the phone the moment she answered the call and quickly ended it too so she won't have to retort anything but have no choice except to come out because I am waiting.

I pocketed my phone, rubbing my palms with hot packs together to create friction because it's cold and I am standing outside her door.

"Haile!" I cheerfully greeted the moment the front door opened and revealed her wearing her turtleneck dress and cardigans. Her hair messy and her eyes with dark under circles.

"What?" She questioned, she's not annoyed nor anything. Just plain questioning.

"It's Seollal and you're still working? Come on, Haile. Have some fun!" and she sneered at my remark.

I already expected she'd still be working her ass off even on the most important traditional holiday of the year. Even though I get it, she's a public relations manager. A busy woman working in an international company of XID. Yeah, I get it.

"Ano naman ang gusto mong gawin ko?" medyo natatawang tanong nya.

"Leave your work and come with me. Let's have coffee." Aya ko. "Wag ka na tumanggi. Alam kong mag isa ka dyan because you refused to join auntie and uncle na magcelebrate ng Seollal sa Namhae." I interrupted before she could even complain.

She looked at me directly in the eyes and her brows furrowed.

"I called auntie para kamustahin kayo since you're not answering my messages. Akala ko nag eenjoy ka kaya di ka nagrereply tapos yun pala di ka naman kasama."

Nag iwas lang sya ng tingin at huminga ng malalim.

I know how hard she'd been trying to busy herself from work just to get distracted with the fact that Donghyun disappeared into thin air just like that a month ago.

"Saan tayo pupunta?" she queried and that made me smile.

"My place? Will you be okay?" I pursed my lips. "It's Seollal so most business are closed. Let's have coffee at my place then." I shrugged.
