A Short Story: Freddy And Gregory

"So what happened with VANNY? How did you find Gregory? I thought she would've killed him immediately" Freddy asked.

"Well I went to her little area, that place with the window inside Fazerblast.." started Vanessa. "Gregory was hiding in a corner and then VANNY picked him up and just handed him to me...It was very strange."

"Hm. It sounds like it was her" Freddy added.

"Huh? What do you mean it was her?" Asked Vanessa.

"I was looking for Gregory when I accidentally stumbled upon her. This was a while ago but it was strange. She was holding her head and her right eye was purple and there was purple tears leaking from it" explained Freddy.

"Do you think that she's being controlled?" Vanessa mentioned.

"Possibly but we do not know for sure. The only thing on my mind is keeping close to Gregory at all times" Freddy replied.

"Freddy..." Gregory muttered.

"Gregory? Do you have something to say?" Asked the bear.

"I just..." started Gregory, unable to continue.

Everyone waited for him to finish.

"I couldn't stand them hurting you because of me!" Gregory muttered.

"Why do you believe that you caused it?" Freddy asked the child.

"Huh?" Gregory asked in surprise.

"Why do you believe that you caused me to get hurt?" Freddy repeated.

"Well if I didn't need your help I-..." the boy was interrupted by a loud glitching sound.

"What is that sound!?" Freddy asked.

"I don't know!" Answered Vanessa.

The glitching sound got louder and louder until Gregory started to tear up from his ears bleeding.

"Vanessa! Gregory's ears are bleeding!" Freddy yelled over all the noise.

"It must have something to do with VANNY because she's the only thing that glitches!" Vanessa replied.

"Huh?" Gregory asked.

The glitching stopped. Just, suddenly stopped. It was silent.

"Why did it stop?" Asked Gregory confused.

"I...do not know" Freddy responded.

A bloody, burned, old and horrifying rabbit thing stood before them. Gregory trembled with fear as he stared at the thing.

"W-What is that thing!?" Gregory shrieked in fear.

"What thing?" Vanessa asked.

"Huh?" Gregory mumbled.

The horrifying bloody, old, burned rabbit was not there.

"What!? It was right there! It was a green/grey old, burned rabbit!" The child explained.

"There is no rabbit at the Mega Pizzaplex anymore Gregory" Freddy answered.

"I know, but it was right there!!" Gregory exclaimed.

"I believe you, I just didn't happen to see it" Freddy replied.

"Me either, I must've looked away" Vanessa added.

Gregory turned back to the place where the rabbit was. He knew it was there, why was he the only one to see it?

"Freddy! Put me on the ground!" Gregory said excitedly.

Freddy put Gregory on the ground and immediately he started running towards the place where he saw the rabbit. Freddy saw and followed for protection. There was blood, oil and brown dirt stains on the shiny floor.

"I knew it! I told you there was a rabbit here!" Gregory exclaimed.

There was more dirt and blood stains. It seemed to be leading into a single room.

"I do not know if that is a safe place to go into" Freddy piped up.

"Yeah, kid. It could be a trap" Vanessa added.

What should I do? I know it's weird that it has a trail into a room but I want to know! Because I don't know what that thing was! But I don't want Freddy or Vanessa to get hurt. I must go in there by myself. I'm the one VANNY and that crusty rabbit want.

Without warning, Gregory ran into the room and was greeted by a horrifying discovery.
