A Short Story: Freddy And Gregory

Gregory screamed in hopes that someone, anyone would hear his desperate cries for help.

"Did you seriously think we would leave?" Burntrap remarked.

"Master, you should be glad our plan worked" VANNY replied.

"Ah yes. Very" Burntrap smirked.

"What.. why are you doing this? You guys left!! What about your son!?" Gregory exclaimed in fear.

"You seriously believed it!? This was all part of our elaborate plan to kill you!" VANNY explained.

"No.. you.. this.." Gregory muttered.

"Aw. Little Gregory can't comprehend the fact that we were never good in the first place. Why would you think that we just suddenly drop all our hard work, just because Master had a son?" VANNY exclaimed.

"While it is true I had a son, I never cared for him. He was useless" Burntrap sneered.

Gregory was only half listening, he was instead thinking about how to escape and where he would hide.

"At long last. I will finally kill you. You've made it difficult, Gregory. Using Freddy to your advantage, hiding. It was fun while it lasted. But I'm afraid your time has run out" Burntrap added.

Gregory's pupils dilated as Burntrap and VANNY advanced towards him. He couldn't move because of the knife still wedged in his leg. He screamed again. Hoping, praying, that anyone would have heard it.

But nobody came.

"I'm going to enjoy killing you at long last" Burntrap smirked and then grabbed the knife in Gregory's leg. He twisted it around, before aggressively pulling it out, leaving Gregory screaming in nothing but pain.

Tears flowing down his cheeks, Gregory started to see black dots invade his vision. His eyelids were heavy, and he was in more pain he's ever been in his life. With the blood pouring out of the gaping wound in his leg, Gregory would surely die of blood loss, if Burntrap and VANNY didn't torture him first. Just as his vision faded out, Gregory saw a pair of glowing blue lights from behind Burntrap and VANNY, and felt hope.

Then everything faded to black.
