A Short Story: Freddy And Gregory

Inside The Room

Gregory ran in the room and was greeted by a horrifying discovery.

"Gregory!" Freddy shouted.

"Is he dumb!?" Vanessa yelled back.

At once, Freddy ran into the room and saw Gregory, horrified. Gregory was standing in front of two rabbits, VANNY and the old, burned bloody rabbit. Freddy looked down at the blood puddle at Gregory's foot and saw scratch marks on his leg. Someone hurt Gregory and he was bleeding, and Freddy was not happy about it. The old animatronic rabbit started getting closer to the terrified Gregory. Freddy saw this and was not letting him get anywhere near Gregory. He ran over to Gregory and stood in front of him.

"What do you want from him?" Freddy asked sternly.

No response.

Freddy turned around and saw the terrified child looking up at him with big teary eyes.

"Gregory...do you think you can walk?" Freddy asked quietly and gently.

The child said nothing but stand there. He stared at the horrific scene in front of him.

"C.C..." the old rabbit muttered.

"What?" The child asked.

"C.C..." the old rabbit repeated.

Gregory started walking towards the old rabbit, slowly. Freddy grabbed Gregory's hand.

"Gregory...wait" Freddy said.

The child turned around and looked up at Freddy. Freddy knew to kneel down so that Gregory could reach him. Gregory put his tiny hands on both of Freddy's cold robotic hands. Freddy knew not to interfere unless something was going to happen to Gregory. He could not help but be extra cautious while VANNY was there. Gregory continued slowly walking towards the old rabbit. When he stood in front of the old rabbit he looked up at him.

"Who's C.C...?" The boy asked quietly.

The rabbit said nothing but looked at VANNY. This caused Freddy to be more alert.

"C.C was his son" VANNY explained.

"What happened to him?" Gregory asked curiously.

"He died" VANNY responded.

"I'm sorry..." Gregory replied.

"It's not your fault, kid. You just remind him of his son" VANNY explained.

Gregory felt bad for the man.

"What's his name?" Asked Gregory.

"His name is Burntrap. His human name was William Afton though" VANNY responded.

Gregory started walking towards Burntrap, which caught Freddy off guard. Freddy watched nervously as Gregory got closer and closer to Burntrap. Once Gregory was a few inches away from Burntrap he looked up at him. Burntrap looked down at Gregory and was reminded of his son. He missed C.C dearly. Everyone was shocked when Gregory wrapped his arms around Burntrap.

"I just thought you might want a hug" the boy muttered.

Burntrap smiled and put his hand on the boy's head.

He really is just like C.C.

"VANNY, is this the boy you chose?" Burntrap asked.

"Yes master" VANNY replied.

"Choose someone else" Burntrap ordered. "He deserves to live a good life."

VANNY bowed to her master and glitched away.

"Thanks kid" Burntrap said.

Gregory stopped hugging Burntrap but looked at him and smiled.

"VANNY won't hurt you anymore. And the animatronics are back to their original state" Burntrap explained.

"Does that mean I can stay in the Pizzaplex!?" Gregory exclaimed.

Freddy looked at the excited boy and smiled.

"Of course, Superstar" Freddy replied.

Gregory's smile widened and he ran over to Freddy. Freddy picked up the excited boy and Gregory hugged him. They looked back at Burntrap and waved.

"Bye Mr. Afton!!" Gregory yelled happily.

Burntrap was surprised when he heard this. He was reminded of the children he killed and remembered Charlie, his niece. He decided he was going to go see her.
