Eating Alone

Part 3- The Redhead

A few days went by, and the gang just stayed in the house majority of the time. They played in the game room Toni had, watched movies in the movie theater.

Toni was sitting on the couch when she thought about the unexpected. She went into the game room where her friends were at and sat down in the sofa by the door.

"So, I was thinking," Toni said, catching everyone's attention. "I could throw a party," Toni finished.

Everyone looked at her and they started snickering a bit. "Toni, you want to throw a party?" Fangs asked, stopping from playing foosball with Sweet Pea.

Toni looked at all of them and rolled her eyes. "That's what I said, right?" Toni asked.

"Yeah, but--"

"It's the beginning of summer, and we need to start it with a bang. You're in, or you're out, bozo," Toni interjected.

Fangs looked at Sweet Pea and he shrugged. "If it's what she desires, then we have to just let her do her," Sweet Pea said, as he walked away from the foosball table and to the sectional chairs.

Toni snapped her neck at Fangs, a smile creeping on her lips. Fangs rolled his eyes and went over to the other games in the game room. Toni proudly crossed her arms and sat back in her chair.

Toni was putting up the post when she overheard Josie and Kevin talking. She didn't want to intrude, but she heard her name, and the girl's name she's been hearing for the absolute longest.

She sat there, hearing them talk. The thing is, she couldn't hear all they were saying. But she heard them say both her and the girl's name she forgot, and something about the party.

She just decided not to worry about it, so she put up the post and went into the kitchen. She had grabbed a water and decided she wanted to go to the gym.

She went to her room and into her closet, getting out her basketball clothing and changing. When she was done, she went downstairs and grabbed her water bottle, putting Gatorade in it, and then grabbing a big bottle of water.

She was putting on her sneakers when she heard Kevin and Josie calling her name. She looked up from tying her shoe and looked at them.

"Where are you going?" Josie asked, her arms slightly crossed, and an amused look on her face.

Toni looked between the two and gave them a questionable look. "Why? You wanna come or something?" Toni asked, finishing tying her  shoe.

Kevin and Josie looked at one another and then at Toni. "Oh, we didn't know. No, you can go." Kevin said.

Toni's face frowned a bit, and then looked at the two of them. "Y'all are acting weird. I'm going to go, and I'll be back in an hour or so," Toni said, grabbing her keys, hydro-flask, and water bottle.

Kevin and Josie smiled and nodded. Toni opened the door and then heard Fangs and Sweet Pea behind her. She sighed slightly, turning around and looking at the two boys.

"How may I help you?" Toni asked, crossing her arms and putting most her weight on her left leg.

"You going to the courts?" Fangs asked.

"Yeah. Do you want to come or something?" Toni asked, repeating the same thing for the second time.

Sweet Pea was about to answer before Josie elbowed him in his arm. "No. They'll be fine. You can go to the gym," the dark sinned girl said with a small smile.

Toni shook her head and left out of the house. Fangs looked at them annoyed, being the fact he wanted to go. "What the hell was all of that for?" Fangs asked, looking at the two friends.
