Eating Alone

Part 2- Getting Things Back To Normal

Toni was laying in bed asleep when she heard her phone ringing. She had lost track of time, and was about 30 minutes late to the plans she arranged with her friends, Fangs and Sweet Pea. She picked up the phone, putting it to her ear with her eyes still closed.

"Hey, T?"

"Yeah? Everything okay?"

"Does being 30 minutes late to plans sound okay to you?"

With his sarcastic words, Toni jumped out of bed, leaving her phone on the covers as she quickly went to her closet. She then realized the left Fangs basically for his own, and went back to the bed, picking it up and putting it on speaker.

"Oh, my gosh. I'm so sorry. I'm going to get dressed. Be there in like 15." Toni said as she rushed and picked out clothes, putting them on after.

"Don't forget to brush your teeth. You're dirty-"

Before he could even finish his snarky comment, Toni hung up on him, laughing at the fact he basically had no filter. She went to the bathroom, fluffing up her hair, brushing her teeth, and spraying smell goods on her before she left out of the house.

She got onto her motorcycle, driving at a somewhat fast speed when she realized she forgot money for the activities they had planned. She cursed and went back, getting about 100 dollars, and left back out of the house. 

The brunette ended up wearing a black spaghetti strap, cropped  shirt. Some black pants with crossing on the side of the legs, her blue and black plaid flannel, topping it off with her combat boots she was well known for. 

Not too long of a ride after, she pulled in to see her friend, Sweet Pea's, bike outside of the roller rink they were at. She had figured Fangs had drove with him since she didn't see Fangs' bike outside beside the car. 

She parked her bike on the side of Sweet Pea's car and entered the rink, paying for her ticket and skates, and going over to where she saw Fangs' boyfriend, Kevin, sitting on his phone. Kevin had looked up from his phone, looking at Toni, and then around the ground area. 

"You better hurry up before Fangs say something," Kevin said, taking everything out of Toni's hands and helping Toni sit down. 

Toni knew exactly where Kevin was getting at, so she hurried and put her skate on, telling Kevin thanks for being discreet, and got onto the skating rink. The second she went to skate, she fell, hearing the cackle of Fangs behind her. 

He rolled up to her, helping her up while still laughing. "That's what you get for being so goddamn late," Fangs said, lopping his arm around Toni's and skating by her side slowly. 

Toni gave him a glare and Fangs chuckled in response. "Where's Pea? I saw his car, but I don't see him," Toni questioned, looking at the people in front of her, but not seeing the 6 foot tall boy she recognized.. 

"Well, if you ask me, he's probably fucking Josie. But, if you ask him, he's sitting like 5 tables away from Kevin, eating Josie's face," Fangs said. Toni looked behind her to see Sweet Pea and his girlfriend, Josie, were sharing an order of fries.

"Oh, no. I'm crashing their little soiree." Toni said, skating to the rink's entrance/exit and going over to Sweet Pea and Josie. She rolled over the carpet and sat at the table, stealing a fry and the couple's attention.

"Hi, Josie," Toni said, with a smile, while dragging on her name.

Josie smiled back, tilting her head, responding the same way saying, "Hi, Toni."

The two people laughed and then Toni looked at Sweet Pea, rolling her eyes. "So, you weren't going to call be when the time came? Because I saw no missed calls-" Toni started to say before Sweet Pea cut her off with a chuckle.
