Magic

The ceremony was starting.
'I wonder what it's like to have a gift..' you wondered while waiting for Antonio to start walking. Antonio seemed scared and was holding his hand out for someone.
'Mirabel?' everyone had the same thought as you. She accompanied Antonio to his door and when he reached out to open his door, everyone held their breath. Suddenly a bird appeared on Antonio's shoulder and he seemed to understand it! Everyone cheered as they entered his room, it was magical. Antonio was having the time of his life.

Meanwhile you noticed how Camilo was still looking at you. This time you looked back at him, and he quickly looked the other way. 'weird' you though.

You were enjoying the view of this giant jungle inside of Antonio's room but you felt like you should check up on Mirabel.

You left the party and searched for her but couldn't find her. You sighed in defeat and went outside, to take a break from all the noise inside.

You were simply enjoying the air until you felt a presence next to you.

You looked to the right and there was Camilo standing next to you, not too far from your face.

"Woah! You startled me, Camilo.." you shrieked.

"My apologies Y/N" he said jokingly.

"What are you doing here? Your brother is having his miracle party right now, shouldn't you be there?" you asked him.
"Yeah yeah I know" he sighed.
"But I could ask you the same thing, what are you doing here?" he asked you with an smile.
'cute.. like his smile' you thought.
"I just wanted to get away from the noise a bit.. I'm not used to it since I traveled alone for a long time, heh" you answered.

It's true, all that noise was making you dizzy and was irritating you

"I understand" he said calmly

"It must've been hard for you" he said

You just looked at him with tired eyes
"It was... But it was worth it, I don't regret it" you answered with an small smile.

"I met a lot of awesome people, including you and of course Casita" you said and Casita was waving you with one of her windows which caused you to chuckle.

"I'm glad to be here" you said and just looked up to the sky admiring the stars.

You heard Camilo sit down on the grass and he signaled you to do the same, so you did.
You two are just sitting next to each other admiring the stars up in the sky without a single word.

The air wasn't cold or warm, it was just perfect. There is a tiny bit of wind and a clear sky.

It felt so peaceful. And the silence wasn't awkward at all.

You laid down on the grass and closed your eyes. "I wish I did this more often.." you whispered.
Camilo laid down next to you "What do you mean?" he asked quietly.
"I wish I hadn't focused to much on my destination but more on the actual journey.. As an example something like this" you whispered in response. "All I did was just to over think or worry if I'd even make it" you whispered as you turn your head to the right, looking at him.

"Don't worry Y/N, it's over now. I don't think you should think about it anymore. And the star gazing? You can do that here now" he said, trying to cheer you up.

"You're right.. Thank you Camilo" you smiled. You were a bit surprised by that response, but it was exactly what you needed at that moment.
'I didn't know he could be like this' you thought. 'Well I do only know him for a day, soo' you turned you head towards the sky again and closed your eyes.

And before you noticed it, you drifted into deep sleep
