7pm (Dolores Madrigal x f!reader)

chapter 2

Y/N's POV (17 years later)

I lay in my bed watching the seconds pass till 7pm, "three, two, one" I say to myself as the clock strikes 7pm, "hi Dolores, happy birthday! it's officially been 17 years since I left, I don't know if your still listening to me, but I miss you... a lot. life here has been the same as always, although I do have an extra special birthday present for you, I get to move back to Encanto, my grandparents finally deemed me to be' rEspOnsiBLe EnOUgH' to move out, I finally get to see you in person, I can't wait, I'll be there in 3 days to see you, and all my old friends. I'm really exited to see how everyone aged, I wonder what little Luisa got as her gift, and to see Isa again, and of course you, well I've gotta start packing see you soon!" I say smiling I hope she heard me, this is something I've been planning for awhile for her birthday.

Dolores's POV

I cant believe  she can finally come back it's been 17 years, and she'll be back just in time for Antonio's gift ceremony, although after the last one she attended was kind of a disaster, so she might not want to came to this one, but still I get to see her, I wonder how she's grown, wait where will she stay will abuela even let her back in the casita, calm down Dolores, wait how am I supposed to calm down, remember what mama taut you: breath in, breath out. I put the earmuffs Y/N gave me all those years ago on my head to block out all the loud noises, but then, *knock knock*  "Come in" I say and the door opens, "what do you want Cami!" I ask my little brother, "abuela wanted to know if you had anything on Isabe- what are those!" he says gesturing at my earmuffs, and grabbing them off my head, "hey give those back!" "who's Y/N? Your girlfriend?" "I'm straight, NOW GIVE THOSE BACK!"  "yeah and I'm a 3 headed hippopotamus, anyways here you go" he thankfully gives back the earmuffs, "so why did you need me in the first place?" I ask, "abuela wanted info on Isabella and Mariano's engagement" I listen for a second and then respond "he bought a ring but we don't have a date yet." "alright I'll go tell her." as he walks off I can't help but think about his comment on my sexuality, I'm straight... right? and I defiantly don't have a crush on Y/N that would be crazy, I need to find Isabella, she's the only person I can trust with this who actually knows Y/N  

I walk off to go find Isabella, and tell her about Y/N coming back and also consult her about the comment Camilo made earlier. I go to her room and knock on the door, "who is it?" I hear her yell, "Dolores, I have some good news!" the door swings open and I enter the giant garden room, "what is it Dolores?" she asks, "umm well the good news is that Y/N is moving back b-" she cuts me off, "no way that adorable little friend you had when we were like 5 how did you even find out she was moving back?" "oh well uh before she left we came up with this thing were from 7 to 8pm I would listen to her talk, so I've been doing that for the past 17 years" "17 years wow that's a lot of time you must have a will of steel to be able to keep that up so long!" "yeah I guess" "did you need anything?" she asks and I nod, "well um Camilo saw the earmuffs, and asked if Y/N is my my girlfriend..." "oh baby you just had your gay awakening didn't you" "w-well I mean I came to you to ask like am I gay cause I think she has a really pretty voice, and my heart skips a beat when I think about her?" "it's defiantly a possibility but you could also just be really good friends in the end it really depends, if I were you I would see how I interact with her in person I hope this helps." Isabella says, she's an amazing cousin and her advice is always good.

 I walk back to my room, what am I going to do, I mean if I do have a crush on her it's gonna be really awkward, she's my closest friend, but I guess I'll just have to see how this ends. then I get an idea, I bang on the wall of my room, "TIO BRUNO! I need your opinion on something" "gosh you didn't have to yell... well anyways what do you need?" the rat man says from within the walls, "you know Y/N, the girl I used to hang out with like 17 years ago?" "yeah?" "well I think I might have a uhh.. crush on her? I was wondering if with your experience with telenovelas could help?" "oh wait let me wright one and get back to you on how it ends, oh and happy birthday by the way" he says warming my heart, honestly I have no clue why the rest of the family hates him so much, "thanks tio Bruno" 

I look at the clock, and it's 11pm so I should probably go to sleep, I can worry more in the morning, for now I should get some rest.
