Y/n is a 16 year old girl, who doesn't have many friends and meets Niall Horan, a 17 year old, who is very popular and has lots of friends. Will they become friends? Or even more? Will Y/n become popular through Niall?
I am in my room listening to music and all of a sudden the doorbell rings so I run downstairs. When I open the door and see Niall, who has changed his outfit, and his family I call my parents and brothers "Guys come down, the neighbours are here!" "Coming", all of them nearly say at the same time and come down the stairs and join us in the living room. "I'm Aine nice to meet you", my mum introduces herself. "I'm Y/n." "I'm Conall", my dad says and my brothers introduce themselves too. "Hi, I'm Brandon." "And I'm Colin." Then Nialls family introduces themselves. "I'm Maura, nice to meet you too." "Hey, I'm Bobby." "I'm Greg." "And I'm Niall." "Y/n I heard your in Nialls class, how about you walk to school together", Maura asked so I said "Sure, I leave at about half past seven because I meet my friends before school." "Then you can maybe introduce him to your friends" "Don't need to, he knows them all already." "That's nice, so he could maybe hang out with you then?" "He can, if he wants to, but I think all the boys would be jealous." "Why would you say that?", Niall wants to know. "I saw how they all came up to you and asked you a million questions", I laughed. "And you couldn't help me?" "I thought you should get to know them too." "Ok, I understand, but are they always that annoying?" "Yeah!" "Mum, can I leave now?", Greg asks. "No, why don't you go upstairs with Brandon and Colin and get to know each other", Maura suggests and they agree anoyed. "Y/n and Niall, why don't you go upstairs aswell and leave us adults to chat?"
Niall and I go upstairs and start talking about his former school and life in Mullingar. "Did you have many friends?" "Yeah, I was kinda the popular kid." "What?!" "Is that so shocking?" "No, it's just...just I am more of the outsider and I'm...like invisible to everyone at school, except for Saoirse and Roisin." "Oh, that's why you said I know them already." "Yeah. And that's also why I couldn't help you. They would just ignore me and laugh at me", I start crying a little. "You don't have to cry, you have me too now. I'll make sure they'll notice you at some point." "No, it's fine, I'm used to it. I know most of them since preschool or at least since primary school...it won't change." "It will, don't give up on trying just yet." "I already have, it's useless."Come on, we'll make it...together!" "If you say so." Hecomes closer and gives me a hug.

It probably looks weird, because he's a good bit bigger than me. All of a sudden I heard my mum call for us "Y/n, Niall, Brandon, Colin, Greg! Come down for some muffins!" "Coming!", Brandon yells and I hear them running down the stairs. "Are you also as crazy as my brothers when it comes to food?" "Probably even crazier", Niall laughs. We walk down the stairs aswell and join the others in the living room again.
About an hour later the Horans left. "They seem nice", my mum says so I say "Thery are, well Niall is, as far as I know." "Someone has a crush", Brandon says and I hit him "Shut up! I don't!" "Yes you do!" "Mum!" "Brandon leave your sister!" "Fine, but you will admit it in a week! I bet you will!" "Keep dreaming", I laugh but know deep down that it might actually happen. I run upstairs and grab my phone put on some music and go onto WhatsApp.

Me: You remember Niall, right?
Saoirse❤: Duh!! Roisin❤: Yes! What's with him??
Me: He's my next door neighbour!! Me: He and his family were just here and we [Niall and I] were talking about his life in Mullingar and it turns out he was one of the popular kids!!
Roisin❤: He's popular?? And talked to us?? Saoirse❤: What?? And did anything else happen😏😏
Me: Noooo!!!!!!
Me: Well....He huged me
Saoirse❤: Awww🥰🥰 do you have a crush??
Me: No!! Well...Maybe??
Roisin❤: Tell us more tomorrow??
Me: That's gonna be hard as he's walking to school with me from now on. S

I put my phone away and lay down in bed still listening to music and fell asleep for about an hour until my mum woke me for dinner. I went downstairs half asleep, ate dinner and then we all watched some TV afterwards.
