Y/n is a 16 year old girl, who doesn't have many friends and meets Niall Horan, a 17 year old, who is very popular and has lots of friends. Will they become friends? Or even more? Will Y/n become popular through Niall?
We're on our walk with Lucky and are currently on Lisa's Street, so we sit down on the bench in the park that's opposite Lisa's house. I let Lucky off the leash, to let him run around a little while Niall and I stay seated. Just then Niall put his arm around me and Lisa came walking by with her gang. "Hey Lisa!", I greet her but she just ignores me. "Hey Niall!" "Hi Lisa!" "What are you doing here?" "I'm here with Y/n and Lucky for a walk." "Oh, true Lucky goes for walks in this park." "Yeah we do", I try to get into the conversation but she still ignores me. To my luck Lucky comes back just then and sits down infroth of us, like always, when he's ready to leave. I put his leash back on and Niall understands it and says "Sorry, but we have to go now." "See you tomorrow." "Yeah." And that's when we leave. We go back home and start making the dinner.

I take the picture of Niall and post it to my Insta with the caption 'First date with my lovely Niall Horan 💗 first a walk with Lucky, now cooking together. Love you😘'. Niall tells his friends from Mullingar to go follow me and like and comment stuff on the picture. I get 1k of likes, 900 followers and about 950 comments in like 30 minutes and I can't believe it. "How many people did you tell to like, comment and follow?" "Like 100, but I told them to tell others aswell, why?" "I have 950 followers!" "Wow, that's awesome." "Yeah, and that's just because we're pretending to date." "About that..." What is he going to say? Does he wanna 'break up' with me? Why would he tell 100 people to like, comment and follow then? "Stop worrying, it's nothing bad!" "How...how did you...?" "I saw it in your eyes that you were worried." "Oh. So what did you want to say?" "Nothing...dinner is ready, will you call your brothers down?" "Ok, but we'll talk about it later." "It's nothing." "Well talk later!" "Ok, but now get your brothers, we'll have to explain our situation to them, won't we?" "No, we'll just say, your parents are out with your brother and you asked if you could eat with us." "Ok, that's probably easier than explaining our situation."
I call the boys down and we eat our dinner. "So, why is Niall here?", Brandon asks. "My parents are out with my brother. Some job thing for my brother I think. And then I asked if I could come over, cause eating alone is not as nice as having company." "Yeah, do you have a problem with that, Brandon?" "No, no, I was just curious." "Found any friends yet Niall?" "Yeah, a few guys in our class are friendly." "Girlfriend?" "Brandon!" "No Problem, no I don't have a girlfriend, but all girls run after me, like in Mullingar, but I'm not interested in them." "In none of them?" "No, not the ones that run after me." "Yeah, ok, I do kinda understand as I've seen many of the girls at your school, not as in dated but I've seen them at school fares and stuff." Colin and I just eat our dinner in silence and Brandon keeps asking Niall stuff until all of a sudden Niall asks "You remember my brother Greg, right?" "Yeah?" "How about you find an apartment with him, not as in to live together as a couple, but as friends. Then you'd have your own place and could do whatever you liked." "That's actually not a bad idea, I've been saving up for an apartment, but alone it would be very expensive." "Should I ask Greg for you or give you his number?" "Sure, I'll text him later then." Niall gives Brandon Greg's number and Brandon goes up after dinner and texts Greg about Nialls idea. Before that Niall texts Greg though and tells him to tell Brandon, that he was at a job interview with their parents incase Brandon asks. And something about Greg owing him that much?
After dinner the two of us tidy up all the dishes and sit down at the table again. Colin is upstairs listening to music again and Brandon is chatting with Greg about the apartment. Just as I want to start asking Niall what he meant earlier by 'About that...' when we were talking about pretending to be a couple, Brandon comes down and tells us what Greg and him have come up with. "So, me and Greg will meet up on Tomorrow and look at this place we just found, that we can also afford, and see if we're interested. The guy selling has already moved out, so we could move in next week already." "That sounds great." "Yeah I know, now I only have to talk with mum and dad." "I bey they'll be thrilled with what you came up with on your own, well Niall, but you know what I mean." "Yeah, I do", and he runs back upstairs. "Our plan worked." "Truue, we we're talking about that the day we met. But now to the thing you wanted to say earlier, but didn't!" "It's really no big deal!" "I don't care, its about our situation so I want to know!" "Ok, it's..." and then his phone rang. His mum. He answered and said "OK, coming!" Really? Why did his phone have to ring now and not 5 minutes later?
