Can We Go Back? [ Megumi Fushiguro ]

Megumi's pov:

I was laying down on my bed when I heard my phone ring from the kitchen.

"Uhh, why do I always forget to keep it with me." I walked downstairs now grabbing my phone to answer it.

"Hello?"

"FINALLY! It's Geto, Kelly's brother. Megumi I think something happened to Kelly. I need you to tell me were she lives right now, quickly!" Suguru yelled from the other side of the phone.

"W-what? I- yeah of course I'll send you the location right now." I hung up quickly sending him the location before sprinting out of the house myself and making my way over to hers.

When I finally made it I saw that the door was left ajar. That's convenient, I could just walk in. I stealthily walked in trying to not make a noise incase her father is here.

I was about to close the door behind me when I was met with a gruesome scene before me. My eyes instantly opened wide as a haunted look was clear on my face. Her father's lifeless body laid there in a pool of blood with prominent holes in his chest.

I was brought out of my head when a thought of the same thing happened to Kelly came. I sharply looked around while walking through her house. But I didn't need to go very far when I saw her laying there on the ground with a phone in her hand as blood surrounded her. Every single horrible thought possible ran through my mind as I quickly bend down on my knees next to her to place two of my finders on her neck and my other hand on her chest. After a few seconds I sighed relieved.

"Her hearths still beating. You're still here, oh my god. Hey can you hear me? Kelly?" I gently placed both my hands on her face to see if maybe she opens her eyes or show's some sign that's she's still conscious. But there was nothing. Tears welled up in my eyes as I just looked at her feeling overwhelmed with thoughts and emotions.

I don't know what I can do! Think Megumi! Should I wait for her brother? He's probably bringing that doctor with him. But what if he's not here quick enough. She still has a heart beat but it's barely there.

"Kelly you can't die. You can't leave me come on. Wake up, please." I brushed the hair away from her face with my shaking hand while tears flowed down my face.

Fuck her brother. I'm calling an ambulance he's taking too long!

I let go of her to grab my phone from my pocket when I heard someone walking into the room. I looked behind me to find Geto gasping for air. He looked at me worried but his face turned pale when he looked down at his sister. He ran next to me kneeling down to her level. He checked for a heart beat and when he realized how faint it was he called over the I'm guessing doctor to help. The woman looked at Kelly before looking at both of us.

"Can you two please go to another room. This will take a lot of focus." Geto nodded before getting up and pulling me up with him.

"Please save her Ieri." He said as he held my weak body steady.

"I'll try my best Geto." With that he pulled me with him outside to a car that was parked in front of the house. I didn't say a word as I quietly sat there, the image of her laying there with her clothes all ripped as blood seeped through and onto the floor. Deep cuts on every inch of her body. Tears were about to start falling from my eyes again but stopped when Geto spoke. "She'll be fine. If anyone can save her, it's Ieiri. She's the best at what she does, Don't worry." He smiled down at me trying to hide his emotions but I could see the stress and worry behind his facade. I nodded my head before looking back down to my bloody hands without a word. I couldn't bring myself to talk.

A few hours passed and I was getting more and more agitated. I can't stay in here anymore. I need to know if she's fine or not. I don't have the patience for this. Right as I was about to open the car door I felt a hand holding me back. I looked over to Geto confused. "Look. She's coming to us. Stay here." My eyes followed to were he was pointing to see the woman walking towards us while holding a girl in her arms. Geto got out of the car to help her bring Kelly next to me. Slowly they placed her down on the seat as I moved her head gently over my thighs. I looked down at her speechless.

The cuts are closed. There's still marks from most of them but they're all healed.

I kept blinking to make sure that I was seeing correctly. "You can stop worrying now Fushiguro. She's perfectly fine, just needs to rest because of all the blood she lost." A light laugh left my mouth before tears started rolling down my face onto hers from leaning onto her to hide from the others. I was so relieved. I don't even know why I'm crying, I guess it's the tears I've been trying to hold back. I places my hand on her cheek caressing it gently with my thumb when Geto and the woman left to sit in front.

A few hours later

I didn't even realise that the car stopped because of how focused I was on making sure that Kelly was still breathing and nothing has went wrong. I looked up to the window to see a big building outside of it.

"Let's bring her out. You can help Megumi. I know you don't want her out of your sight." Geto laughed lightly to himself before getting out of the car to help me. I held her in my arms bridal style as we walked into the building.

"What is this place?" I looked around before looking up at Geto.

"It's the school Gojo told you about. It's were I live, and were Kelly will be living now."

Wait what?

"Kelly? No. She's coming with me. I'm not leaving her here." I pulled her tighter towards me as I started backing away from Geto.

I heard him sigh before he spoke. "Fushiguro, you know it's for the best. She'll be safer here. And she'll have everything she needs." I looked at him with narrowed eyes while trying to think of something that can make sense for her to move in with me instead. But nothing came to mind.

"Fine." I rolled my eyes as he smiled at me. "But I'll be moving in too, and so will my sister."

"Deal. That was the plan anyways." He shrugged before walking away. "Follow me. I'll show you to your new room." I did as he said while I now walked behind him to a corridor filled with doors.

I guess we'll finally be together now Kelly. No need to worry about your father anymore. You're safer here with all of us. I'm very confused about what actually happened but I'm sure you have a good explanation. I'm just happy you're ok.
