Megumi's pov

"Why are you so quiet today?" I looked up at him as we both leaned on the balcony.

"Hmm? Oh I'm just, thinking about a few things" he looked back into the distance were Kelly was sitting down next to the river.

"She likes to have her alone time ones in a while." I kept looking down at her as I talked to Gojo.

"Just like her brother. He's, been having a lot more alone time than he usually does lately. I think somethings up but I just can't seem to figure it out. I think he's also lost some weight." He sighed as he looked down to his hands.

"He has. Kelly noticed it too but everytime she asks, he just starts talking about some weird things. Not sure of what though, she didn't tell me."

"Yeah. So, how have you been Megumi?" He changed the subject now looking down at me with his usual smile.

"Really good." I smiled to myself as memories of the past few months went through my mind.

"I'm guessing she has something to do with it?" I looked up at him as he gestured towards Kelly.

"Yeah, I guess she has a lot to do with it. I know that if it wasn't for her I'd be in a really dark place, mentally." I replied honestly.

"Careful Megumi. Don't depend all your happiness on a person. You never know what might happen" Gojo said seriously as he looked at me from the side.

"Did she fall asleep?" I didn't really listen to what he said as I looked down to see Kelly laying down with her arms and legs wide open as she faced up towards the night sky.

"You should go check on her. I still have some things I need to take care of so, I'll leave you to it. Have fun" he pats my shoulder before going back into the school while I went to check on the hopefully alive girl.

I stealthy walked towards her not wanting to wake her up to find her still laying in the same position with her eyes closed while humming a song. I slowly stand on top of her before leaning down as I placed both hands on the side of her head.

She flinched when she felt someone lay on top of her. Panicked she tries to push me off until she realises it's just me.

"You fucker! You scared me." She said before wrapping one arm around me and putting the other one on my head that was now laying on her chest.

"You enjoying your alone time?" I wrapped my arms around her as I nestled my head more into her chest.

"I was. It's really nice and peaceful out here. Mainly at this time." She said calmly.

"Mhmm. No one's here to bother us so that's really nice." We laid there quietly, just enjoying the sound of the river.

"Megumi. Do you ever umm, you know, think about what your family was like?" She said hesitantly not sure if she would cross the line.

"I mean.... I guess sometimes yeah. But I've never really meet them except for Tsumiki so I don't really know what to think about." I would have lied if I said that I never wondered what it would be like to have a normal family. But the thought of it is so foreign to me that I don't really know what to think of.

"You're ok with that?" There was so much hesitation in her voice that it made me let out a light laugh.

I lift my head up from her chest to look at her face. "Yeah, I don't really know what I'm missing out on so there's not really much to get sad about. Plus, it's not like I'm alone." I lift myself up a little towards her face as I leave a small kiss on her lips.
