It was a beautiful morning in Twilight Falls. Lauren and Aubrey were outside the department cleaning her van for today's chores, Ron was upstairs, and Ms. Cho was in her office.
Jack had been working for a long time, and he decided to sleep on the sofa.
Lauren was getting some soap to finish washing her van for the day.
Aubrey looked around at the garage, but she had not seen Jack before.
"Lauren, have you seen Jack?" Aubrey asked.
"No, I did not." said Lauren.
"I am sure he is alright if he is out there somewhere..." Aubrey said.
"Yeah. Let us just finish cleaning my van." Lauren said.
"Ok, Lauren." Aubrey said.
After they had finished cleaning Lauren's van, She nodded in agreement to her and pulled her phone out of her pocket to call Robin.
She hoped that he would say yes, even though he was a policeman. When everyone waited in the kitchen, Lauren called him on the phone.
But before Lauren could call him, Fire Department Chief Ivy texted her to bring a fire engine in case of a fire, or any problems. Lauren knew which one to bring with her, and she began to call Robin.
