You rushed upstairs to change, deciding on a simple t-shirt and jeans. You left your hair down and didn’t even put on makeup, just a simple outfit. You checked your email and found a massive email from Eliza, sending you a bunch of yaoi photos and asking about how everything went with Ivan.

You went through the yaoi, saving it into organized files by ship name. After emailing Hungary about the day before, you pulled on your shoes and went onto your porch, sitting in your porch swing with some doujinshis. After about twenty minutes Ivan pulled up, top down and sunglasses framing his eyes.

He got out and walked over, hands behind his back. When he reached you he pulled out a beautiful bouquet. It had lilies, pansies, roses, sunflowers, tulips, and even more roses. “It’s beautiful Ivan, thank you. I can’t wait for today, where do you want to start?”

You asked, standing up and giving him a quick kiss. He grabbed your hand and leaned on a beam.

“Well, I have a few charms that are waiting for us at the jewelry store. We can go there, and then if you want we can go to the park. I love it there, it’s so pretty. Then I suppose we could have lunch, maybe at Italy’s restaurant. This sounds good, Da?”

“Yes it does. I want to see how last night was for Romano, plus their food is delicious. Shall we get going then?” You walked to his car, about to get in when you remembered something.

“Hang on, I gotta grab something. You rushed inside, returning with the sunflower hat on your head. Ivan smiled and kissed you, then started up the car. You drove to the jewelry store, where you were met by France. He actually wasn’t perverted today, just helpful.

Russia led you to the back, where several tiny velvet boxes sat on a table, one of them red rather than the standard blue. He motioned for you to sit in a chair, and sat next to you. “Okay (F/N), close your eyes. Im going to mix up the boxes and you have to pick a random one to open. I thought it would be more fun this way, rather than just handing them to you. You agree, Da?”

You nodded and shut your eyes tightly, not peeking this time. When he said go you stuck your hand out and grabbed one at random. You opened your eyes and looked at Russia, who nodded and smiled.

You opened the box slowly, revealing two matching charms in the shape of snowflakes. “Ivan, their so pretty. I love them.”

“They have a double meaning. We both love snow and I was thinking that as a couple we could have could have Let It Go as one of our songs. If it’s okay with you at least. I figured since we both love it and we sang it at the party. You can pick a second song as well if you like.”

“That’s a wonderful idea Russia, I love it. For the second song I’ll have to think about it. Can I put the charm on your bracelet?” He held out his wrist and you fastened the charm next to the heart. You didn’t let go of his hand for a moment, feeling the soft skin of his palm against your own.

“So, would you like to open another box? Any of them except the red, that one’s saved for last.”

“Sure Vanya.” You said, grabbing another box with only one hand, the other still intertwined with Russia’s. You pulled it open and tears filled your eyes. It was a polar bear with a scarf, looking similar to the toy you had at home. That bear had belonged to the triplets, that’s why you stayed so close to it. You crushed Russia in a hug, releasing a muffled “Thank you”.

You rested there a moment, Russia leaning his head on your own, his white blond hair tickling your nose.

You sat back up, wiping your eyes. “Thank you Ivan, it’s wonderful. I’ll always remember that you did this for me. Shall I open the last blue box?”
