The next day we all headed to school. Ash just happens to be in my home room.
"Class we have a new student. Mr. Singer, go sit by Ms. Winchester." Ms. Smith said.
Later in the day all the freshman and sophomore girls where giving me dirty looks when I was talking to Ash. The passing period before lunch I confronted him about it.
"Ash quit hanging Out and talking to me in school. I keep getting dirty looks from the girls here, and frankly it's making it kinda hard for me to get a date also." I said.
"Sorry I'll find some gay ones for you." He said with a smile.
"No ash don't!" But he already left. "Shit."
"Excuse me everyone. Flora Winchester is a gay girl who is looking for a date to the dance tonight. If you would like a shot with her come talk to me!" He yelled standing on a table.
Everyone just stared at him and me. I turned and walked right out of the lunch room and to the janitors closet.
"Excuse me. Are you Flora?" A girl asked.
"Yeah. Why?" I asked.
"Well I was wondering if you wanted to be my date to the dance tonight." She asked. "Oh sorry where's my manners, I'm Ava."
"What the hell, sure I'll be your date to the dance." I said.
