"Come on it's just two more blocks." Flora yelled at her younger brother Ash, as they walked home from school.
"Ughhh! But my feet hurt!" Ash wined.
"Ash hurry up!" I yell at him. He hurries up noticing the fear in my voice. He gets to where I am and sees the cop cars and yellow tape around out house.
"MOM!" We bother run to our house and try to get inside but a police woman stoped us.
"Hey, calm down. Is this your house?" The woman asked.
"Yes is our mom okay?" I ask growing more worried by the second.
"Hey chief the kids are here." The woman said at the door.
"Hey guys. Come here." The Chief said. We followed him and went in the house. Where we walked in there was blood everywhere and mom was laying on the floor in out living room. Dead.
"Mom!" We both drop down by her cold body.
"I'm sorry guys. This was in the table." He handed us the paper. It had two numbers and an address on it.
"Let's go back to the station." The police Chief said.
