Vi x Reader (Arcane: LoL)

An Ambush

VI'S POV..

     Caitlyn poured the shimmer into my mouth, holding my face. I screamed in pain again, shutting my eyes tightly. 

     "Easy, easy, easy.." Cait said to me as I whimpered in pain. I calmed down, looking at her. I moved my head out of her hands. "So I heal you, and that's the thanks I get?"

     I hop up, looking out of the door. Silco. He was teasing the beggars with shimmer, but he finally gave it to them. My eyes slightly widened as the small, sickly figures contorted into monsters.

     I crack my neck as the goons start walking over to me I hold my fists out, ready to fight, but then at the last second I turn and run. I punch the wooden stand that Caitlyn was trying to knock down, and finally push it over the edge. Everything starts crumbling, and I grab Caitlyn. We run to the wall, and me and her start climbing. I hear Silco's goons getting crushed and killed. I let out a happy sigh, but I keep climbing.

     Me and Caitlyn finally reach the top, but something catches my eye.

     "Powder.." I whisper to myself, and grab Caitlyn again. We run as fast as possible towards the blue smoke in the sky.

     I run up the stairs, leaving Cait at the bottom. I run up faster and faster, desperate to see Powder. I finally reach the top stair, and see a girl with two long, blue braids.

     "Powder..?" I say, my voice cracking. She suddenly turns around, and her expression softens. She lets out a small 'Vi?', and I run up to her. "Oh, Powder!.." I say, wrapping my arms around her.

YOUR POV..

     Me and Ekko finally arrived at the Firelights building again, but it felt heavier than before. The air was thicker in here, and everyone was sad. Ekko put his hand on my shoulder, telling me to follow him. We walked over to the hoverboards, and Ekko started talking.

     "We have to go quick." He said. I furrowed my brows in confusion. "We know where Vi is."

     "So? If she's in danger it's her fault." I spat out, obviously not meaning it. I just didn't wanna show weakness. "And plus she has the little enforcer chick to help her."

     "Jinx. She's with Vi." He said. My eyes widened, and I walked over to the suits. "So you're coming?"

     "Of course, I'm not gonna let Jinx kill another person." I said. I grabbed a hoverboard and began to walk out. "I'm gonna grab my suit from the bathroom." I told him before walking fully out. I hopped on the hoverboard and went to the room I was staying in. Usually, I stayed with Ekko, but he didn't want me by anyone. Honestly, I didn't wanna be by anyone either. I was already pushing myself enough by doing this.

     I walked into the room, hopping off of the hoverboard. I walked into the bathroom, leaning the hoverboard on the wall. I slip the outfit on again, looking at myself in the mirror. I let out a sigh before putting my mask on. I walk out, riding the hoverboard back to the Firelights building. Everyone was already outside, they were just waiting for me. Once I got there, everyone hopped onto their boards quickly. We started speeding up quickly, going to the pipes. I looked through the opening, seeing Vi with Jinx. Jinx was holding her machine gun towards Vi and Caitlyn. My head snaps back as I hear one of the kids almost fall.

     "Shh.. do you hear that?" Jinx whisper shouts from her area. I look at the pipe across from me. I see Ekko nod at me, and I raise my hand. Suddenly, the Firelights from my side start following me. Jinx starts firing, and I raise my hand again, making a different signal. The Firelights that followed me start "falling" sideways, which confused Jinx. She stops firing for a moment, and we take that as a chance to start flying. Me and Scar fly side-by-side and Jinx aims her gun at us. We jump off our own boards, switching. 

     I regain my balance, flying towards Vi who was beating a Firelight up. I grab her by the back of her jacket, raising her up a little before dropping her back on the ground. I did that to give the Firelight enough time to get up and move. Vi looks back at me, but I look away. I grab the kunai and hold it by the end of its rope. I hop off the board and onto the ground, and the board stays floating. It's like parking, but more fun. 

     I stand in front of Caitlyn, and she has her gun pointed at me. I let out a laugh before hearing a certain someone fly behind me. Scar has his hand down, and I throw the rope from to kunai to him. He lifts me into the air by the rope, and I kick Cait in the side of the face. He lifts me onto his hoverboard, and I hop from his, to mine. Well, it's his.. but we switched earlier. I send him a small thumbs up and he does the same.

     I look back at Vi who is leaned over Caitlyn. A Firelight is heading towards her, and knocks her out. I look at Scar, and we both fly down, quickly grabbing Cait and Vi. He grabbed Vi, and I swooped up Caitlyn. We both start flying back, as the Firelight who knocked Vi out was right behind us. Suddenly, I hear his hoverboard start to make a sizzle sound. I look back and see his hoverboard slowly stop glowing, and he starts falling. I throw Cait to Ekko, and he catches her. I fly as fast as I can, trying to catch the boy.

     Suddenly, a loud crack echos throughout the place. Those hoverboards break quite loudly, huh? I fly back up with the small boy in my arms. He was about 16, but he was still quite scrawny. I zoom away, dodging Jinx's extra shots. I motion with my hand for the Firelights to start going, and they do. I follow closely behind them, as we quickly make it back to the Firelights main room. I set the boy on the ground and he lets out a loud breath. I look at him and lead him inside.
