Vi x Reader (Arcane: LoL)

Explosion

VI'S POV..

     I look at the door to see Vander and Benzo walking in.

     "What-" I say, but he cuts me off.

     "You've got a good heart kid, don't lose it. You too, Hart." He says, looking at me, then Hart. he suddenly grabs us both, pushing us into a room. He locks the door, leaving us stuck in the room. I start crying, knowing exactly what he was going to do. He was gonna let himself get arrested.. Just like that? No.. this can't be happening. I start banging on the door, screaming loudly as I hear Vander talking to an unfamiliar voice. Enforcers.

     I scream louder and louder, but they keep talking like my screams aren't even there. I stop, realizing it was no use. I hear them walk out, and I run over to the window. I look through the window, watching the enforcer put handcuffs on Vander. I feel a hand on my shoulder, and look back to see Hart. I look back at the window, turning my head away from her. Suddenly, I see them shouting, and Benzo pulls out a gun. Everything happened so fast.. Some deformed creature that had purple pulsing through its veins was running to the enforcers. It killed them, making its way over to Benzo. Vander couldn't do anything because he was in cuffs. I see Benzos head get chopped off. I couldn't see anything else because blood was now splattered all over the window.

     I fell to my knees, sobbing loudly. I looked up at Hart who was holding back tears as she knelt down in front of me. She took me in her arms, letting me cry into her shirt. 

YOUR POV..

     I swallowed the lump in my throat, not letting the tears fall from my eyes. I let Violet cry into my shirt as much as she needed. I turn my head, hearing someone else come in. I look over and see Ekko. My heart drops. He just saw all of that.. He stands there, starting to sob. I motion for him to come over and he runs over to us right away. I take him in my other arm, letting both of them cry into me. 

     "They killed him.. they killed Benzo.." He sobs into my shirt.

     "Shh.. It's okay.. I've got you now.." I whisper to them as they cry more. I feel Vi start to get up, and I look at her, still holding Ekko.

     "Stay here, okay? I'll be right back." She said to me before giving me a small kiss on the cheek. I nod my head at her and hold her hand one last time before she leaves. She goes out of the door, leaving me and Ekko here. I hold Ekko tightly, as he starts to calm down. I pick him up and hold him as if he were a sloth. He wraps his arms and legs around me. I start walking to the rooftop that me and Vi liked to sit on. I lay him down on the roof, putting my jacket over him. I lay my bag underneath his head so he has a soft place to sleep on.

     "It's all my fault.." He says with a small cry. "If I never gave them the tip in the first place.. they wouldn't be dead.. I got Benzo killed.." 

     "Hey, don't say that.. You were only trying to help, Ekko." I said, wiping the tears off of his face. "Get some rest, little man. You need it." I say with a smile before he closes his eyes.

     It wasn't long before Ekko fell asleep, and suddenly my eyes felt heavier than normal. I lay down next to him, falling asleep.

     I was woken up by an explosive sound. I look down, noticing Ekko is still sleeping. I look around at the sky, seeing a blue cloud of smoke. What the.. I stand up immediately, trying to get a better look. I see a huge creature run out of the place with a girl in its hands. I see a pinkish color coming from the girls head. Violet. What happened.. I wake Ekko up with a shake, telling him I'd be right back.

     I run quickly to the area where the blue explosion was, seeing the huge beast from earlier on the ground, but Violet was nowhere to be seen. I look up at the huge hole in the wall and see a pole sticking through a boys chest. I squint my eyes and gasp. Mylo. He was dead. This could only mean that Claggor was dead, too. They never went anywhere without each other. I turn around, the tears I had held back for so long spilling out uncontrollably. I step closer to the beast, noticing that it looked familiar. Vander. I dropped down to my knees, getting a closer look at him. I cry, holding my head in my hands.

     I continue crying, feeling a pair of small arms hug me. I knew who it was. It was Ekko. I gasp and turn around, picking him up.

     "You can't see this one, Ekko. You've seen too much as it is.." I hold his head into my shirt, walking away quickly. 

     "Are they gone?" Ekko says, sniffling. 

     "Not forever.. they're always in our hearts, Ekko.." I say, trying to stay positive for him. It was hard, because I just saw everyone I loved.. dead. I couldn't even see Violet.. I assume she was somewhere in the building like Mylo and Claggor. I set Ekko down, holding his face in my hands. "It's okay, little man.. just lay back down.."
