a/n: its a memory from when i was a kid with my siblings. It's like one of the few memories I enjoyed so i may or may not have cried while writing this. little badger were nicknames for me and my sibling and instead of "mama bear" its "mama badger" in my house. i decided to put the names beside the people talking because i wasn't going to make it a fic at first(kinda more vent type thing) so i thought it would be easier to read as i just replaced my sibling names with random ones.

i wrote it with the intention of Natasha Romanoff being mama and i had no one in mind for papa so that's up to you.

Me and my sibling sit around the table reminiscing. I decided to speak.

Y/n: you remember that time mama and papa surprised us after dinner for a treat like 2018?"

All of them nod their heads or let out quiet "yeah i remember"

Y/n: "I remember it as if it was yesterday......"

*flash back*

mama: "So we have a surprise for all of you after dinner"

My siblings' heads shot up. My older siblings look curious but don't ask. My twin brother decides to ask.

George: "oh what is it mama?"

Y/n: "yeah mama what he said"

My mama and papa laugh.

Mama: "we can't tell you or it won't be a surprise silly"

On of my older sisters Scarlett decides to chime in

Scarlett : "Can we get a hint then?"

Papa: " No. It will spoil the surprise. now you guys need to finish eating your food"

We all start eating again while making conversation. My older brother Riley gets out of his chair and whispers something in my mama's ear. She lets out a chuckle.

Mama: "it doesn't matter that your the oldest, you still don't get to know ri"

He just grumbles and walks back to his seat. My mama laughs again. My other older sister Bella chimes in.

Bella: "What about me? Can i know, I'm the favorite after all"

I grumble. Everyone else laughs.

Mama: "we don't have favorites Bella. Now again let finish eating okay everyone"

We all finished our food and put our dishes in the sink.

Mama: "Alright my babies let's get ready to go"

We all get jackets and shoes on. I'm done first. I go and wait with my mama and papa.

Y/n: "im done mama"

Mama: "alright hon we just need to wait for everyone else"

Y/n: "okay mama"

She wraps one of her arms around me and kisses my forehead. Mama perks up a little. She gets everyone's attention.

Mama: "we have another thing as well"

All my siblings' heads shoot up.

Papa: "we can't trust you guys to keep your eyes closed so you gotta have a blindfold"

Everyone finishes getting ready and we head out and my papa locks the door. My brother and I were the youngest so we went first.

My mama put a blindfold on me as my papa does the same for George.

Mama: "alright love your good. Now let's get you inside"

She guides me to the back seat and buckles me in. I bounced in my seat and let out a squeal of excitement. I hear my mama chuckle. I feel my brother get buckled in beside me.

Mama and papa do that with Riley, Bella, and Scarlett. I hear all the car doors close and the car starts. Papa always drives.

Mama: "everyone ready?"

We all shout out yes. The car started moving. It's kinda scary. I don't like blindfolds.

Bella: "we can probably tell where we're going cuz the turns"

She's very cocky. I can feel we're on a main road.

Mama: "then we'll have to switch it up won't we papa?"

Papa: "yes we do"

Oh no. This is gonna be fun. Papa takes a couple turns. I still know where we're going.

Riley: "you've lost me already"

I giggle. He takes a couple more weird turns.

Y/n: "You've lost me now"

Scarlett: "me two"

George: "me three"

Bella: "me four"

Now everyone's lost. Mama and papa just chuckle and continue to drive. We all listen to the radio. George whispers.

George: "Where do you think we're going?"

Y/n: "I don't know. We could be going anywhere"

I think for a minute

Y/n: "maybe we're going to get a drink and go down to the beach?"

George: "maybe. That sounds nice."

I just hum in agreement. I feel we come to stop

Mama: "alright little badgers were here"

Y/n: "yay"

Papa guides the older kids out while mama helps me and George out. George got out first.

Mama: "alright little badger lets go"

I unbuckle my seatbelt and my mom offers me her hands. I mumble a small 'thank you mama'. She guides me out of the car and stands me next to George. This probably looks weird with 5 kids lined up here blindfolded.

Mama: "Alright, is everyone ready to see where we brought you?"

We all scream yes.

Mama: "then take off your blindfolds little badgers"

I take my blindfold off and look around. Were at whitespot? We all look confused.

Y/n: "why are we here mama?"

Mama: "all of us are gonna get a little treat!"

I'm sure all people can hear excited squeals.

Mama: "alright let's get inside and get some dessert in you tummies"

*flashback over*

I feel tears in my eyes

Y/n: "god i really miss it. I wish we could go back"
