Chapter 14

DANIELLE'S POV~

I opened my eyes and cringed. A bright light was shining in my eyes, but I gave me strength. Daughter of Apollo, duh.

"Dani? Are you awake?" Nico asked me. Looking over, I saw he was sitting beside me.

"What do you think, kardia?" I asked sarcastically. Nico chuckled and smiled.

"I'm going with a yes. We defeated him agapi, Kronos is no more. Luke....." Nico trailed off.

"He's dead, isn't he?" I asked Nico. He nodded. Tears sprang from my eyes. Nico pulled me to him and I sobbed into his shoulder. He rubbed circles into my back.

Finally I stopped crying and just hiccuped. I just sat in Nico's lap. "Where's everyone else?" I asked Nico.

"They're in a meeting with the gods and goddesses. They requested that you join them when you woke up." Nico said. I nodded and got up.

"Can I stay here a little while, with you?" I asked.

He sat on the bed with me and wrapped his arms around me. I put my head on his chest. We relaxed and both fell asleep.

Life as a demigod is hard, but there is always those moments that make it worth it. This is one of those moments.

APOLLO'S POV~

"Percy Jackson, step forward." Father boomed. I rolled my eyes at his yelling. Percy stepped forward, leaving an anxious Annabeth and Grover. You can so tell that Annabeth and Percy are in love with each other, they just don't see it. Everyone sees it!

"Since you saved all of mankind and Olympus, what is you're wish? We can offer you immortality and the chance to become a minor god." Father offered.

"Lord Zeus, no thank you. I don't want to become a minor god." Percy rejected the chance at becoming a god. I have met no one who would do that.

"What?!" Father roared. "You don't want to be like us?!" Percy nodded. "What is your wish?"

"I want the gods to claim all of their children at the age of 13, children need to know who their parent is. Also, I want you to pay more attention to them too." Percy said.

"Granted. Now, be gone but you can wait till Dani returns here." Father said. I raised my hand.

"I'll go get Dani. Be back in a few minutes." I said and jogged to Dani's room in my palace.

I opened her door and found Nico and Dani making out on her bed. I screamed at the sight and they jumped apart.

"Dani, come with me. Nico you may come but you must stay on the other side of me." I commanded and they did what I asked. They let their heads fall on their chests.

We walked back into the throne room. "Nico!" I barked.

"Yes Apollo?" Nico asked with confidence. I scoffed.

"You, go by Percy, Dani, go up to your grandfather's throne." I growled out. They did what I asked after Dani kissed Nico on the cheek. I growled at that but they ignored it.

"Hey grandpa! What do ya need?" Dani asked casually. I rolled my eyes.

"Dani, since you fought Kronos and nearly sacrificed your life durning it. What is your wish?" Father asked.

"I wish that I knew my true potential." Dani said and my heart constricted. If Dani knew her full potential, she would try and fix it and it would mess everything up. Everybody's destinies will be screwed.

"No, I'm sorry Dani. You shall know it when you reach it. But I can give you what your heart wants. It shall be granted." Father said. Everybody but Dani looked puzzled.

Dani sighed. "My hearts desire is for Nico, Percy, Anna, and I to have technically an Achilles heel enchantment but there is no weakness. We 4 shall be protected from danger, forever. It can never be taken off, even by sacred rivers." Dani said. My heart started beating regularly again. That's her hearts desire, good.

Father opened his arms and a gold light swept through the room, going though everyone who was included in Dani's wish. The people included in the wish collapsed but they were fine, just didn't have the energy to stay awake.

"They're ok Mr. Underwood. Go back to camp, they shall be transported there shortly." I said to him. He nodded and walked out of the throne room. Camp must have a bus to take him back and to clean all of the aftermath up.

DANIELLE'S POV~

"Ugh! I feel like cra-" I started but was stopped.

"Don't you dare finish that sentence Danielle Bella Scarlett." Will threatened as I opened my eyes.

"How'd I get here?" I asked Will.

"They gods dropped you, Percy, Annabeth, and Nico off a few days ago. You have been passed out for about three days. It was harder to protect you because you're much more dangerous than Annabeth and Nico. Percy is almost as powerful than you. That's what happens when you live with Dad and are 3/4 god." Will lectured me.

"Thanks for the lecture. I'm going to find Nico." I said and tried to get up. I started seeing spots.

"Wow there sis, let me help you." Will said. He helped me to my feet and I leaned a little on him. awe walked around camp trying to find Nico.

"Why don't we check the sword arena." I suggested to Will. He nodded and we made our way over there.

Nico was there with Percy, trying to kill a dummy. "I let her get hurt, Dani could have died!!" Nico yelled in frustration as he shredded the dummy.

Percy spotted Will and I but didn't tell Nico. "Nico, she's fine and she gave us the enchantment. Dani also had the enchantment on her too. She's fine and really beat Kronos's butt in a sword fight. Luke was good at fighting but Dani improved since he left." Percy said. I grinned and Will let me stand on my own.

I opened my bow and arrow locket. My weapon appeared on me. Loading an arrow, I aimed at the dummy, right where it's heart is suppose to be. I released the arrow and it hit the dummy, right in the heart. Nico froze awhile Percy, Will, and I laughed.

"Hey honey, how was your day?" I asked.

"Great, now that your here." Nico said. Did I mentioned how much love Nico?
