~to AS, the girl who forgot me~

How many days do I spend
Wondering if this will end?
Our lives are but a moment
In the world. One component.

I like you more than I should;
I'm feeling misunderstood.
I want to stand tall and tell
Them I love you. Yeah, I fell.

"You're so gay,"
That's all they say.
She hurt me
With the games she plays.
"That's so cute,"
Love's absolute.
They hold up guns.
I scream, "Don't shoot!"

And I like the way I like you.
Kissing? I don't really want to.
Am I missing out? I don't think so.
And this innocence is all I know.

And I like the way you smile
like you've known me for a while,
Like he's a joke. I know he isn't,
But I'm still stuck in this prison.
