Danielle POV

"Hey I didn't think you were filming today?" Barrett said, running to catch up as I walked over to the trailers.

"Morning," I smiled, bending down slightly to make sure Ford didn't jump up at her.

"I'm not filming today no," I added, standing back up.

"Hi buddy!" Barrett grinned, quickly giving Ford the attention he was very much after.

"So what you doing here on your day off?" She asked as we approached the trailers.

"I've got a meet and greet with some competition winners," I replied, reaching my hand into the back pocket of my jeans for my trailer key.

"Good luck with that," Barrett said, sarcastically rolling her eyes.

"Wait it's not gonna be in your trailer right?" She asked quickly.

"No no, meeting room 5," I told her.

"Phewww," she sighed dramatically.

"Oh stop I'm sure it will be fine. It's always nice meeting fans," I said, playfully slapping her arm.

"You're right, as long as they're not crazy," she laughed.

"Go film," I told her, pointing my finger in the direction of the studio.

"Catch you later Savre," she winked.

I shook my head at her and opened the door to my trailer, unclipped Ford's lead to let him have free reign of my little space.

I checked the time and saw I had about 45 minutes until I needed to be over in the meeting room in studio 2.

I freshened myself up and had time to sit and scroll through my phone for a few minutes. I refreshed my memory of the competition winners to make sure I had their names and competition entries in my mind.

Bradley, he had produced a brilliant ceramic sculpture.

Rosalie, she'd also created a beautiful canvas painting.

Jemma, she'd submitted a creative, impressionist dance video.

I remember now that I wasn't completely sold on Jemma's entry but Maddie had insisted it was worth one of the winner spots and twisted my arm.

And finally, there was Nova. She had written a short story that had taken me through every emotion. She was the first winner I had selected. Even now, two months since announcing the winners, I can still recall how her story had made me feel. I'd even re-read it a few times since.

"Hello,"

I looked up and saw Stefania had popped her head around the trailer door.

"Hi beautiful!" I grinned happily, getting straight up to go greet her.

She pushed the door open fully and walked in.

"Ciao bellina!" She smiled, instantly wrapping her arms around me.

"I thought I saw your car in the parking lot," Stef said, releasing her arms from around me.

"I've have the meet and greet I told you about today," I told her.

"Ahhh si si I remember. Do you want me to watch Ford?" She asked.

"No he'll be okay in here for an hour, you're filming aren't you?" I said, perching on the edge of the sofa.

"Si, after lunch but only one scene," she smiled.

"I'll hang out here and wait until you finish. We can take the dogs out for a walk?" I suggested.
