I stand at the doorway of the living room, awaiting everyone's arrival. Another meeting being called about the recent movements of the eastern pack. Which, is becoming a serious problem. After making a mental count, I find, as always, one person is missing. Pinching the bridge of my nose in frustration, I decide to start this without Rafael. Elizabeth can fill him in when he decides it's time for him to come back here. Looking around at the serious expressions on my pack member's face, I take a breath. "Okay, firstly, we must take note of the movements of Night Shadow. As we know, they are lethal, quick witted and hunt within the shadows. I will stress this point; those with pups keep them safe. Do not let them leave the house after dark, unless you are with them," I say, my voice laced with authority, most of them who I know has children nods. "Mikhail... " I call, motioning him over to me, he walks, standing next to me, his hand clasped behind his back. "Right, I would've selected two groups to take the first and second patrol shift, the first group which includes Geovani, Darius, Dimitri, Christian and myself," he starts, his voice holding a seriousness that was unlike him. As the owners of the names stand at the command of Mikhail, "And the second; Aqua,Tony, Ethan, Gabe and Rafael," He calls, looking around again, pausing momentarily. Sighing, he looks over at me, giving me a pointed look, I know exactly what he means. Why is he always gone for important things like this, everyone has a breaking point, even Mikhail, Rafael not being here annoys him to no end. And I can't help but chuckle, I let my eyes shift quickly to Elizabeth, to which Mikhail nods. Silently, he calls Geovani, (one of the pack's trackers ) the redheaded male walks quickly over to us. "Go find Rafael, I'm sure he's probably in trouble somewhere," As he leaves, I push off the wall, folding my arms over my chest. "So this meeting is over, feel free to do as you please. Do take heed to what I said, let's not anything unexpected happen," The pack shuffles out, those who were selected by Mikhail remained behind to get the patrol times.
I watch the sun set through the window, just as Geovani walks through the front door with Rafael. The latter having a tense expression on his face. "He was just out getting a few drinks," he explains, giving Rafael a quick glance.
Nodding, I look at the two skeptically, "Your shift starts at nine, you know the drill," I say to Rafael, whom nods in response.

"Thanks Geo," I was half expecting him to tell Lucian what he really saw. But I trust him as a friend, and he didn't fail me. He sighs, "It's no problem. But you have to be careful, that human girl could get into nothing but trouble,"
"I know, But thanks anyway," I smile, he nods, walking back to the living room. Passing by it, I walk up to my bedroom.

Hiya! Real quick update here, I know this is short, but not much happened in this chapter.. I'm already working on chapter twelve,might be awhile before it's posted, hopefully by Monday, and I might even do a double update then! As always, thank you all for reading, you guys are awesome!
