Chapter 3: Strange

POV of Dylan Esleigh

Characters : Nurse

                       Aunt Rica

While I'm at the hospital, I started befriending the nurse looking after me. We got close and often tell stories and share tales of our lives with each other.

Just as I was about to go to the hospital canteen to meet up with her, I saw a girl with an eyepatch carrying a doll. I got curious cause she is wearing the same uniform that the others who visited me was wearing.

I thought maybe she's also from my class, so I followed her.

I went inside the elevator with her and tried to talk to her.  

I got puzzled when she pressed the button for basement.

"Hey, miss. You are from Yomiyama North right?" I asked her, she just looked at me for a second and turned her head back to the elevator door and gave a slight nod.

"Ow, I'm Dylan Esleigh, a new student of class 3." I introduced myself and smiled. 

She just gave the same look . 

Then we reached her floor but before she went out, she told me something that puzzled me more..

"Don't mess with those that does not exist" she said in a low voice.

Then she slowly disappeared in the dark going to the morgue. 

She was creepy but for some reason, it made me more interested in her.

As I returned to the canteen to meet up with my friend, the nurse, I saw a body being taken to the morgue.

"Tsk tsk tsk. another girl died" the nurse said.

"Uhm, may I ask who died?"I said. 

"A girl, about 15 years old. just before class start!" she exclaimed. She was one of the nurses who took care of the girl who died. 

"What's her name?" ,for some reason, I felt the need to ask for her name.

"Not sure about the first name. But her lastname is Lim"

Then we sat and continue our little chitchat. She told me some infos about Yomiyama North because her brother is also a student there.

The next day, the doctor told me that I can already go, so my aunt took me home already and told me to get ready because I'll be going to school soon.

"Remember the rules ok? "aunt Rica reminded me.

"Yes aunt. rule no.1, always follow school rules, Rule no. 3, never get in trouble and rule no. 3..." before I can even finish,

"Rule no. 3 is the most important rule that you should never forget ok?" she said in a sweet but serious voice.

I just agreed and went to bed to get some rest since I just came out from the hospital.
