Cheeks grow a shade of red
A blush spreading like fire
Which ate up all the dried-out wood
My eyes widened in pure bliss
Staring up at that lovely figure
Fills my mind with interest
Curiously paying attention
Not trying to be like that-
That cat that curiosity did off with
Though I find it easier said than done
He takes my hand
His love for me creating such a bond
That even if he told me to jump off a bridge, I wouldn't hesitate
I'd be off that bridge in a heartbeat
Though if he ever left me
That same bridge would burn like my cheeks
For he is mine and I am his
We took an oath until death do us part
And nothing- no nothing
will ever keep us apart
