The coldness of the night is slowly starting to show and you are getting goosebumps on your arms.

'It's too beautiful outside to leave right now. I'll just stay a little longer'

You think.

'But tomorrow is ODM gear practice. I can't be tired. This Shadis guy is already driving me crazy.'

With that you take the wiser path and decide to head back to the sleeping barracks. It was still quiet. Not a single sound except your heartbeat and the wind can be heard. Every steps gets heavier and heavier and you soon find yourself frozen in place again. Is the silence driving you crazy? Why aren't you able to move? All these questions rapidly pop up in your head and you can't shake them away. But suddenly you hear a faint voice breaking the silence.

'Why (Y/n)? Why couldn't you just move. It would've been one small step and we both would still be fine. You do realize that it's your fault, right?'

"Milo?"

'It's your fault that I'm dead now. Look what you've done. What if Mom and Dad saw you like this. Fragile and stupid. Nothing more than a useless idiot!'

Your head begins to throb uncontrollably and you clutch your head. The pain soon becomes unbearable and drop to your knees.

"No, stop this."

'We should've never left Marley!!It was your idea!!'

"Shut up!"

'IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU, I'D STILL BE ALIVE!!'

"I SAID STOP IT!!"

With that all the energy left inside you fades and you fully sink down on the grass. Crying and sobbing you just lay there. Is it really your fault or are you just blaming yourself? Clearly it was Milos decision to save your life. He would never say such cruel things to you. You must be hallucinating. MILO IS DEAD.

Your vision gets blurry and darkness overcomes you. The last things you were able to hear are a pair of footsteps coming your way and a rather raspy and loud voice speaking to you.

"What the hell do you think you're doing cadet?"

With that you completely black out due to exhaustion and everything goes silent.

'Oh shit I'm so screwed'

You slowly open your eyes and find yourself in a white bed. This must be the infirmary. There is a window on your left and sunlight beams through the curtains. The memory from yesterday is mussy. There was Milo speaking to you and blaming you. You remember that you crashed to the ground and then someone picked me up and put me here-

'Oh no.'

Now you remember. It was the commander himself finding you there.

'This can't be happening.'

Just then a woman comes in your room and hands you a glass of water.

"Good. You're awake. Commander Shadis wanted me to tell you that he wants to speak to you as soon as possible. You seem like you've rested enough so you might try to look for him"

With that the nurse walks out of the room and closes the door behind her.

'How rude! I just woke up from being unconscious for god knows how long and she proceeds to send me to Shadis. This is not gonna end well this time'
