Just two more days and your worries about Levi will be gone.

"Hey Liliana, wake up"

...

"Hellooooo? Lilianaaaa. Come on, we have class now."

"Huh, what's happening ?"

Your eyes shot open and you are met with the face of the all too familiar red-headed girl being directly in front of you. You immediately jolt up in your bed, almost crashing into her.

"Gosh, Petra. Don't scare me like that."

"I'm sorry... But you weren't waking up."

"It's fine. Just... give me a second."

"Look, Liliana. I'd love to, but we have a theory class in like 10 minutes. So you've got to get up."

"Ah shit, I totally forgot about that."

You jump out of your bed and begin changing into your uniform. The other girls from your barrack had already gone off to the lesson. You don't want to admit it, but you were really thankful, that Petra woke you up on time. Being late to a lesson is the last thing you need right now.

After adjusting the last belt on your uniform, you quickly grab a hair tie and braid your long, (h/c) hair into a loose ponytail.

"You ready?", Petra asks.

You just nod and you both rush out of your barrack.

"Hurry, Liliana. We don't want to be late...

'Of course we don't'

... especially since the corporal is teaching today".

'WHAT?! Captain Levi is teaching this class. You have got to be kidding me. But I mean, it'll be fine, right? I'm not alone with him so he can't confront or ask me about anything.'

Finally, Petra and you reach the classroom and to your luck, the lesson hasn't started yet. All the barracks are made out of wood and the bright morning sun shines through the windows, making the atmosphere rather calming. Entering the room, you see Levi sitting on his chair with one leg over the other behind a desk. He's wearing his usual uniform with this weird, white cloth around his neck. He has a cup of tea placed in front of him and its fresh scent fills the room. Behind him is a giant blackboard, which is in every classroom. The commanders and professors use it to illustrate certain things and write down important information.

You make your way over to the other cadets, who have already sat down, ready for the lesson to begin. You just go through the rows, looking for an empty seat. There is one in the fourth row, right next to the window. So you decide to just sit there. Petra follows you and eventually sits next to you. That wasn't really what you had in mind, but whatever. She literally saved you from being late, so it's fine if she sits next to you this one time.

Still, you plan on sticking to the fact, that you don't want anything to do with the people here. It's just two years you have to spend with them and then you all can go your separate ways. It is probably also for the best, since you still don't know what the titanshifters' mission is. But one thing you know is for sure... it won't end peacefully.

As you wait for the lesson to start, two cadets enter the room. You assume, that they were the last to arrive, since the captain instructed them to close the door after. You watch as they make their way to the far back of the room before turning your attention back to the front. Captain Levi rises from the chair he was previously sitting on and goes over to the blackboard. He takes the chalk and starts to write.
