Part Written by Timber

"Who was that guy?" Speckle asked immediately after hearing the door shut upstairs. Yenzo looked like he was trying to keep his composure but he was starting to look extremely stressed. Timber just stared at the bowl and mac&cheese splattered all over the floor. Yenzo got the broom from the pantry.

Noah ate a spoon full of macaroni with a very unsatisfied look on his face about what had just happened. He didn't say anything.

Timber looked a little horrified. "Did I say something?" She asked.

"Hey! My question was never answered!" Speckle bursted loudly.

"No, Timber, you didn't." I said. As Yenzo walked over to sweep everything up, I looked down and scanned the mess. Everything was there, the spoon included. Michail didn't use anything I gave him as a trick up his sleeve.

"Guys!" Speckle snapped.

"Be quiet!" Rosemary snarled at him. I didn't even react to Rosemary being angry. I know she had a smart mouth with Star, as she had no respect for him at all, but she was really quiet at my house.

I sighed. "Where there goes our bowl."

"We can buy a new one," Yenzo informed me.

"Okay glass half full," I mocked him. Yenzo eyed me as he threw the shattered glass and macaroni away. I smirked.

"So who was that?" Timber asked.

"Some kids I found. I'm trying to find their parents." I said. Noah choked on his macaroni after I said that. I glared at him. Everyone was staring at him at this point.

Noah smiled awkwardly. "What?" He glared at me. He looked up past me. He kept that same smile on his face but the shift of his eyebrows going from furrowed to frowning told me someone was behind me and Noah was trying to hide that from everyone staring at him.

"Who wants to go outside?" I said loudly in a gleeful voice.

"Me!" Speckle boasted.

"Uhm- I have-"

"Homework, we know!" Speckle dragged Timber off of the stool. "You're a nerd, you can get it done later let's just go!" He dragged Timber out to the backyard. Rosemary followed without question.

"Wait! You aren't done with your-!" The back door slammed shut "food..." Yenzo sighed as he didn't get to fully finish his sentence.

I turned. Katiya was standing at the corner of the hall.

"Hi, honey." Yenzo said sweetly. They walked over to where I was standing, moving me away. Damn, what did I ever do wrong? "Do you need something?"

"Can I use the bathroom?" Katiya asked quietly. She was clearly more comfortable with Yenzo, as the entire time she was talking, she was staring at me with huge eyes. Am I really that scary looking?

"Yeah- uh... it's behind you. First door on the left. If you need anything you can ask me," Yenzo said with a smile. Katiya only nodded. She turned. I could have sworn she already knew where the bathroom was.

"It's that easy," Yenzo turned to me once the bathroom door shut.

"Okay, you gave me a three second chance, I couldn't do anything." I said. He just shook his head and walked away.

There was a knock at the door. "Oh shit," Noah looked up.

"Who is it?" I asked quickly.

"Probably just an advertiser. I'll answer it." Yenzo said. He opened the door and walked out. I'm assuming it was, because Yenzo didn't open the door again after. Ok good.

"So what exactly are your plans with those kids?" Noah asked.

"I don't have any..." I muttered.

"No shit!" Noah gasped loudly.

"Shut up!" I snapped at him. "Do you want me to go to jail!?"

Noah didn't answer that. He looked outside. I didn't see any of the kids. They probably ran further into the trees.

"It's gonna eat you alive, you know," Noah turned to me again. "You'll look at them everyday and remind yourself of what you did. And you just want to do what, have them trapped here forever? Yeah, even I know that's not going to happen."

"Stop stressing me about it, I'll think of something. Right now, I just need time to gather everything that is happening. Can you just give me like... two weeks before bothering me about it again?" I asked.

"Whatever," Noah yawned. "So anyway, I'm going to go hang out with Robin later."

"Okay," I said. "Can you buy something for me before you get back though?"

"Why would I buy something for you?"

"Can you buy a cereal you think kids will like. I need to test something," I said.

"... Sure," Noah said. He got up. "Does it matter what cereal it is?"

"Just one you choose that you think kids will like. One we don't already have," I said.

"Okay," Noah said. "I can do that."

Yenzo walked back in. "Yeah, just advertisers. Nothing to worry about."

"Okay, cool. Well since everything seems to be settled, I'm going to take a nap. I'm tired," I said, about to go upstairs.

"Make sure you are up before nine. I wanted to have a movie night with the kids," Yenzo said.

"Got it," I yawned. I walked upstairs. It was only four o clock. I only needed maybe an hour or two of sleep.

When I got to my room, I fell on the bed face first and almost immediately fell into a deep sleep.
