His school life is where his love for music grew even more.
From elementary school to middle school, he would compete in underground rap battles and dance competitions. And not only did this open his avenue to the western music scene, but it also earned him some pocket change.
His parents often feared for his safety when participating in these feats, but his sister became his number one fan and encouraged him to start writing his own rhymes.
