His performance had to be the hottest topic around the globe, and for the most part, the recognition he gained was positive. News outlets would describe him as "The Modern Day Tupac Shakur," and he took that as a compliment, being that the late artist was one of his main inspirations when it came to music.
His school treated him like a celebrity; they could've rolled out red carpets everywhere he went.
But he didn't care about the fame. If anything, he thought it was a nuisance.
Let him tell you, he was doing what he was meant to do, which was spreading awareness on topics that almost nobody was talking about.
However, one thing happened with his performance that he was half expecting.
His song got on the wrong side of the west to the point where riots across the nation broke out.
He had to find out about all of it on the news. Come to find out that the west labeled him as "The Lyrical Terrorist."
And he couldn't do anything but laugh.
